Uninstall iTunes completely and reinstall back. Make sure use the latest itunes.

Nope but its common sense. Plug in iPhone then hang ... so must be something with itunes.

Open the Windows Task Manager and look in Processes. In there got 2 processes ... iPodService.exe and iTunesHelper.exe. Most probably this 2 process cause the bluescreen. No need to open itunes la coz the process is running when u boot up the pc. Thats why i said itunes is the problem. The 2 processes are from iTunes.

The fastest way would be reinstalling iTunes back from a fresh copy. Maybe last time when u update, something got wrong. Reinstalling would not loose all your data.
