My recent purchase during my business trip to Bangkok is, technically, not related to the topic but I just want to further illustrate that the living standard and lifestyle in BKK is a lot more sophisticated than us here in MY. Of course, with a weaker exchange rate against Thai baht, BKK is no longer as affordable as before.

I happened to have my caffeine fix at the Dean & Deluca, and I found these:



Mariage Freres - Marco Polo and The Sur Le Nil




These are a few levels higher than the Singapore-originated TWG. Imagine my face expression when I found these in BKK. I am not saying TWG is nothing good - TWG already established herself as an upscale tea brand with selections that can last you the whole life.

Some of you PMed me saying that those photos that I posted using Photobucket are blurry and distorted. You are so right and I don't have an answer to it but i do know Photobucket is getting greedy they are forcing users to pay a ransom or your photos are not visible.

I am now doing my best to rectify this by uploading previously posted photos one by one. Please do bear with me. Thanks.

I bought these two polo t-shirts two months ago but never had the time to unpack them from the paper bag. Well, since it was a long holidays (and wife was away)......

Made in Japan (MIJ) Fred Perry. Please pardon the wrinkles as they were sitting in the paper bag for way too long:

For the blue one, the code is F1753.

Many may not know this but Fred Perry was acquired by a Japanese corporation Hit Union way back in 1995, and most MIJ are produced for local Japan market with a twist to the classic design and a slimmer silhouette. If you are getting bored with the twin-tipped M12, M3600, MIJ is the way to go.

Hi bro thanks for posting your haul here.

You don't have to worry if your haul is worthy or not - nobody can judge that but you. It is not about how much your spent on it but how much joy and satisfaction it brings to you, and that is priceless.

More often than not, most of my hauls that i posted here were meaningless or worthless but they meant so much to me.

So, just post your haul whenever you like. Don't worry, be happy.

I believe many of you have heard of how chaotic and idiotic scalpers can be during the release of Uniqlo x Kaws final collection in June, and re-release 2 weeks ago. I didn't manage to secure any piece as Uniqlo's online store basically was having erection dysfunction, and the staff there were part of the cartel by allowing scalpers to purchase in container, although there was a one-piece-per-customer policy during the re-release but that was for show only.

I was lucky enough to have someone who bought the wrong size and was willing to let it go at cost price, and the design happened to be my favourite - the anatomy.

I gave up after failing to proceed for payment.

Oh well, it wasn't the end of the world but it portrayed the weakness and incapability of an organisation.

I have most of the Uniqlo x Kaws collections and they weren't a pain in the arse in getting them back then.

Too many teenagers who dream of becoming trillionaires by scalping everything - clothes, sneakers, toys. They would sell their souls too but just plain worthless.

I am the most unfashionable person in this forum, my knowledge in fashion is zero, so not so much into all things hyped.


pp/s: I have been into Kaws since he first started 'vandalising' CK's print ads, and later Simpsons, my all time favorite cartoon. Many young cikus just buy and wear it because it is hyped now.

ppp/s: I am hopeful that Uniqlo will collab with Futura's UNKLE Pointman again - they did once few years back. Coincidentally Futura also collaborated with CK for the CK One Graffiti perfume.

ppp/s: Shout out to Uniqlo - please also collab with Maharishi and Banksy.
