QUOTE(Kelvw @ Jan 3 2019, 02:41 AM) You mean the shoe horn? I forgotten to reply to that question Ah I see, thanks for letting me know. So far I find that any collab with Abbeyhorn will not come with the stag handle. Edward Green's shoe horns doesn't come with the stag handle, so I just bought what they had at the time. I could have other brands but then the EG just goes with my EG shoes lol. Anyhow your Abbeyhorn x EG shoe horn is really a beauty. |

A very thoughtful gift from my ex-colleague. She knows that I quite like the bath range from L'Occitane:
![]() ![]() I also collected my first ever MTM by Hugo Boss, a complimentary pink silk pocket square. I am never a fan of Hugo Boss, in fact this is my very first item from them. So to receive this item on complimentary is kinda awkward for me: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Jan 12 2019, 02:25 PM |

A parcel just came in on Tuesday after I placed an order on Sunday. It took only 2 days to arrive from UK but I was slammed with a tax even though the total invoice was less than RM500 with shipping.
![]() It was from one of my favourite online stores, Endclothing.com: ![]() Nice packaging: ![]() Nothing to shout about - a Fred Perry Arktis camo polo T and a few Aesop Control. The Aesop Control has been discontinued in Malaysia as the name contains 'Control'....... This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Jan 12 2019, 02:34 PM |

I have been wanting to get a pair of raw black jeans but can’t seem to lay my hands on one. I am rather choosy, I admit. My last black jeans was a pair of Levi’s Super Black Big E that I procured when I was a teenager.
Until recently the Nudie Thin Finn Dry Cold Black caught my eyes but it always ran out of my size. By chance, Cultizm was having a 15% off and free international shipping promo during CNY, and this pair was available in my size. Resistance is futile. They said. ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Feb 16 2019, 10:57 AM |

This parcel came in a while ago, placed this order to take advantage of the free shipping, and also to get something for my little princess:
![]() My all-time-favourite online store: ![]() ![]() (Almost) bullet-proof packaging to withstand the monkey-handling of our customs: ![]() Ta-daa! ![]() A London Undercover brolly in whangee handle for the princess: ![]() (Another) Fred Perry x Arktis in my size - XS. I bought one not too long ago but it was a size too big (if anyone is interested in this one, please PM me. It is in Small size). Also I am stocking up on Aesop Control whenever I can - did i ever mention to you that this goodie is banned in Malaysia because it has the word 'Control'? Little Napoleons are still everywhere in Malaysia: ![]() I can't get enough of water tumbler (and umbrella). This one, in matted black, will go well with my newly acquired SAV: ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Mar 17 2019, 07:55 PM |

I admit I am a little obsessed with the home scent, and when come to incense stick, Kuumba is good in my book. They are quite querky when come to naming their products - Adult Only, X Tape, Wet Dreams, Sex On The Beach and so on.
Thus, when Trojan Records (read: skinhead) and Carhartt collaborated with Kuumba, I gave them my money: Kuumba x Carhartt x Trojan Records bamboo incense sticks: ![]() ![]() ![]() A few months ago, I procured the Kuumba x Neighborhood incense sticks from the END Clothing. As usual, a family photo: ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Apr 7 2019, 03:22 PM |

These three insignificant hauls were procured via Massdrop, and thanks to Massdrop, I finally able to sample these incense pyres by Blackbird.
A little black history about the Blackbird: it started off as a men's wear select shop based in Seattle, and was known as Blackbird Ballard back then, bringing in articles by Odyn Vovk, CDG, Filson, APC, Eastland Made in Maine, Quoddy.......in short, good stuffs. Then it spun off to produce in house incense pyres, and later became the no. 1 selling product. So it decided to shut down the men's wear department and focus only on incense pyres. I have been following this establishment since 2010 but never gotten the chance to procure or sample any of the product due to the nasty shipment cost until recently. And hence, three tins at one go. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Apr 7 2019, 03:24 PM |

Again, I am cheap - I will take advantage of any free shipping promo whenever I can, especially those with express or priority shipping. Nonetheless, it comes with a price - more often than not you will be slapped with a tax. As opposed to Royal Mail, in which it will take a while to reach but normally you will skip the tax. This one, by DHL, of course was slapped with 3 digits tax:

QUOTE(kahyeec @ Apr 9 2019, 04:07 PM) Mr Porter is best. When they ship out, both DHL and Mr Porter will notify you when the parcel will reach you in your email and sms . And they usually deliver on that date . I can vouch for that - I have been with Mr Porter since 22/1/2011 and am one of the founding members.Buying from Mr Porter since 2017 and the returns and credit are all done very promptly. Delivery wise is perfect. Besides, all the shipment will be delivered on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis, which means all import taxes and duties will be included in the final purchase price to Malaysia so there is no surprise at the customs. |

QUOTE(absorb-d @ May 4 2019, 08:36 PM) Nah 20% flat discount is better than those tax charges, just wondering maybe they do claim it from the govt but don't pass it to the customer Personally I prefer it this way to avoid any surprise. So far all my purchases from endclothing, Fred Perry and matchesfashion were taxed after the tax holidays. On top of that courier company also imposed service charge for clearing the customs on behalf. So to me it is a double whammies. |

QUOTE(CtrlAltDelicious @ May 22 2019, 09:47 PM) When i want to do return, how can i claim back the taxes that already paid to the custom? Coz i'm being charge taxes again for change size. I procured 2 additional candles by Cire Trudon not too long ago, but was heavily slapped with duty. This round the package was opened by customs for inspection as you can see the side was re-tapped by DHL.
