I just bought a set of Jamo S606 and sub 300. Using with Yamaha 663. Now i have a problem for the sub 300. I run the Auto Setup or Manual Setup for "Optimizing the speaker for your listening room (YPAO)", but no matter how i set , the sub 300 not detect and not sound at all. I used the sub woofer cable from Jamo attached. Do you have any idea why the AV can't detect the sub 300. I have tried to set different the cut off frequency, also can't help. Please This is the link of the Jamo sub webpage

I believe that you have connected your sub to pre-out at 663. Switched on sub and cable connected to LFE input of the sub. It sld detect it. Else, you need to call the shop.

Else, you need to call the shop. Hi Htkaki, Yes, i use a RCA plug cable to connect from AV (subwoofer pre out 1) and Jamo sub 300 (Line in Left/LFE). But it still can't detect. Please see the pictures from the attachement. I 've followed this to do the connection. Am i do the right way? Or my AV (subwoofer pre out) socket not working? I assume that you are using single rca plug to connect to sub pre out 1. It sld have work. Or try the other pre out (No. 2) to check it.

Yes, i am using the single RCA plug cable, which is come with the Subwoofer. I also tried to plug into the pre out 2, also not detected. So now i'm not sure which one has problem. is the pre out sockets or sub woofer problem. I have tried that RCA plug cable for simple video output. that is no problem, so which mean that cable is OK. Any other suggestion? that subwoofer is new one. bought from HN (the curve).

Then either AVR or sub got problem. Sub is rather sensitive. Does this Jamo has any light indicator?

So, even with vol cranked up and light on, no sound? That sounds like AVR pre-out got problem.

switch on the sub volume to 25%. connect the rca to the sub. then touch the rca head of the other end with your finger. your sub should generate some sort of sound. if no means its your sub got prob. if yes means its your avr setting

Did you activate the setting for yr sub feature in the 663? Look in the manual for the 'on' subwoofer function in the amp settings.....

Look in the manual for the 'on' subwoofer function in the amp settings..... in yamaha 663, there is not option to set the subwoofer to ON or OFF, only can set the LFE/Bass out, Speaker Level and LFE level. Please see the attachment file. And i have test it , touch the RCA head, the sub has some sound come out. Which mean the Sub is OK. Now i guess the sub cable has problem. Any suggestion? Any suggestion? you had tried to use the single RCA (suplied) with video right? then the cable is ok...other option is, u may connect ur sub from speaker out (avr) to line in on the back of ur sub, then out to speaker thru the line out(for testing purpose only)
