from wat i heard just need to tighten the screw on top. experience from my previous red AP set also same issue, brought to final choice and ask them to tighten the screws and it works perfectly fine. gonna bring it to Nokia opposite BTS later to ask them tighten the screw for me later.

I getting mine by this evening....ya ya ya..maybe red or blue...heard Black is damn limited stock and the dealer is keeping the stock for higher bidder....

i tot black one is only for the euro country not for asia one?

maybe AP set will get the black one once release at UK.

You should do a backup either via built-in backup utility or PC Suite before performing reset. Everything in side memory will be deleted. Things in the memory card will be preserved.
They just started selling in here, what batch do you think it is? I will not consider batch numbers because they could be from the same revision. We should start considering the idea of a later revision. Only a newer revision will have this problem solved while I'm still confident that at least firmware update could do some good.

no wonder la the earpiece got so many problem look at these at how the earpiece is connected.



maybe it's not touching the conductor part properly. so maybe sometimes tighten it will work maybe like someone said must open till see the earpiece then rub rub it.

5800 problems.. i hope the TS will post this on the first page.. "The high low volume of the earpiece/speakerphone & how to fix it & how to detect the problem."
How to detect whether the speakerphone has problems or not??? I've heard in other forum that the problems arise after a week and for other TWO weeks after using the phone..what is the real problem really?..the screws not tight or more than that?

one thing i want to ask you..how long have u been using the phone? afaik the problems can come after a week or two after using the phone too..

i dont mind the light leakage, but i do mind the speakerphone problem..

another problem is when on call.. its very hard to hear the other person talking... sometimes loud... sometimes super soft til kenot hear.

Seems good to me. But aren't those 'bends' suppose to be a contact to the phone? If we 'unbend' them, they may loose contact. Hmm.. wonder if I should try  If the speaker is like what the picture showed, meaning there's no mechanism or latch to secure the speaker. Its just a plug in and leave it type. Any vibrations will cause the speaker to loosen up again.

No lar. I was just suggesting, if the speaker is just a plug-in type with no mechanism or latch to secure it, it'll loose mah. So use glue or adhesive lor. I'm sure the speaker are suppose to have some tensioner to affix its position. But maybe the current batch of parts are not really tight.

Guess, we'll have to send it in now to have it fix. AP owners will have to be a little more adventurous unless we also send it in.

man this is making my decision easier.. not to eager to get the 5800..

this a a QC problem and something that just shouldn't happen..

considering other phones..

Guys, remember this is 1st batch 5800. 2nd batch normally has hardware changes just like other Nseries (for better or worst..)

and guys remember if you want the 2nd batch of 5800, it will probably come in about 6 or more months..
