Anyone here got a casing for their 5800 already? I really need one. Be it silicone case or pda-style.

Already got liao and using it now. I am one of the first owners of Nokia 5800 here few weeks ago. I still have the E71 as a spare phone now.

For those in Ipoh, saw today in Jaya Jusco ground flr area there is a Nokia promo booth there and they are selling the 5800 at RM1499 b4 any bargaining. So pls dun go and pay RM1699 for it! I was in ipoh balik wife's kampung....

Well, not all are affected. The problem appears only after few days/weeks of use. To fix it permenantly, guess that should be the solution.

I agree with all your advices. Shouldn't wait. At least now it's earpiece problem and can be fixed easily, who knows:

1st batch - earpiece problem
2nd batch - touchscreen problem
3rd batch - bluetooth problem
4th batch - mic problem
5th batch - receiver problem
.....

Yikes, I'm pretty much sold on this phone. The interface and user friendliness really captures most vivid phone user. I particularly like the numerical cum alphabetical input feature. Which most touchscreen phone ditched away. furthermore there's chinese input. Really a plus point.

FM transmitter is like the one in W980i.
Usually the headset will have the transmitter but with build in transmitter you can listen to radio even without plugging in headset.

fm transmitter is not actually equal to radio...
radio function is to listen to radio station only such as hitz.fm...
but if i'm not mistaken..
fm transmitter is a function to let you broadcast your sound/songs through FM frequency..

example, u use FM 99.99mhz to broadcast your songs...then other ppl can actually listen to what you are broadcasting in a certain distance when they switch their frequency to 99.99mhz..

well,to conclude that, fm transmitter is also equal to radio but the difference is everybody can become a radio station...

I found out that operamini still cannot render the webpages nicely compare to default 1.
Beside that there are few alternative browser such as: Skyfire, UCWeb. But I still not yet tested the mentioned 2.

Also, CorePlayer confirm cannot work for me...too bad

this can make things easier for me to buy a phone..if the price goes up.. just buy a diff phone..if lower or got headphone bundled together can consider
