Hi Guys,
i am getting a sony tv KDL-32R300B that says on the specs 720p resolution but the seller says it can display 1920x1080 while using hdmi on a pc
does that meant it is going to work fine on my pc like 1080p gaming and desktop

read the 2nd post.

it can accept the 1080p signal but only show a maximum of 720p reso...

also known as downscaling...

I might be wrong but no, the game will run 1080p but the tv itself will downscale the signal to 720p.

bcos I've tried before on a low-end sony tv, the settings on the options show 1080p but I know that tv can only display up to 720p only...

 

Change to:
