QUOTE(hilmiangah @ May 14 2009, 04:56 PM) itu memerlukan 295 SLI-ed. My 8800GT can even support my 25.5" (1920x1200) and I can still game but not at full settings for newer ones. Added on May 14, 2009, 8:13 pmQUOTE(razr_sped @ May 14 2009, 05:26 PM) 260 is mighty fine...will go for gtx300...cos workin liao...can afford to charge!!..for best gfx If you really play those games that requires the power then worth the money but if not a real gamer, might as well save the cash for something else or don't have to get something so high end That's my personal opinion. I don't game a lot so that's why I didn't get GTX275 at the first place. This post has been edited by clawhammer: May 14 2009, 08:13 PM

QUOTE(gamers maniac @ May 14 2009, 10:30 PM) totally agreed . but believe me there is people out there who dont do intensive gaming but more towards benchmark/3dmard score freak Normal and it has been happening for a long time I normally play Dota only and sometimes COD4, RA3, Far Cry2 and I bought this GTX260. Sometimes it's just for the fun, lol.

QUOTE(Terence573 @ May 17 2009, 10:23 PM) it turns to 1 colour screen....either whole green....grey....etc u get the picture. Then it will not respond.Pressing the reset button will sets off my mobo to diagnose the gpu slot got problem( ep45-ds4 feature) but it wont restart...have to do a 3 sec press to shutdown. dunno why this card so... That's very odd and I've never encountered such a problem before either. Did you change the PCI-E frequency from the default 100Mhz? Why not you try and use Rivatuner as it's simpler and more universal.

Prior to GTX260, are you running an ATI or nVidia card? It's really odd because even if it was overclocked previously, it should still be able to overclock now.

Can you provide more details like what is your driver version, etc? Does Rivatuner detect your drivers correctly?

QUOTE(kmarc @ May 28 2009, 11:17 PM) Palit good meh? My local seller here don't have palit la..... Anyway, if anybody knows whether it can fit my casing, please let me know. Thx. Why not you consider brands like ZOTAC, XFX? I've seen the Palit/Galaxy and ended up getting XFX because the build is totally different. The XFX looks more solid and a lot better.

Galaxy changed their warranty period? When I enquire last month, it was still 1 year. The XFX and Zotac also carry a warranty period of 2 and 5 years respectively. If you see the actual product, you really wouldn't mind topping up the extra few tens to opt for brands like XFX or Zotac

QUOTE(nncl @ May 29 2009, 07:48 PM) buy gtx2xx this kind graphic one, sure is performance hungry guys, no one years i think already upgrade lo, warranty doesn't matter You're right but I think it depends also because I had my 8800GT for over a year. Besides, it's easier to sell if you have warranty Peace of mind for the buyer and yourself in case anything happens.

QUOTE(BurgerRI @ May 30 2009, 08:13 AM) Can anyone remember how many years does MSI offer as warranty? it seems to vary from 1 or 2 years depending on which shop that I ask. Actually it should be 3 years from the manufacturer but certain local distributor doesn't want to provide for the full period.

I dismantled my XFX GTX260 last time the first thing I got home because I wanted to see how it looks like and replaced the thermal compound It's very straight forward because the screws are all the same except for a few in the middle.
