Basically PS3 games are region-free.

It only matters for downloadable contents (DLC) or if you are playing it on a CRT TV.

Another difference is the pricing. Basically Region 1(R1) and Region 2(R2) games are more expensive than Region 3(R3)

Yeah, all R1... because of Entropay... not a choice I want but it's the only way to download stuff entirely for Rock Band...

and its way cheaper using entropay. Just look at the website, some games at 9.99, quite reasonable for ps3 games.
