I have removed the fees from most of the univerisities listed since i could not get an update on their latest medical program fees.
You will have to call the universities directly for that.

anyway, I'll still like to steer ppl away from choosing Russia though, so, have a think bout it and do more research if that's one of your options.

I am beginning to understand why US and AUS is moving towards postgrad entry for med now, I guess there are pros and cons for that. My psychiatrist reg joked about saying that maybe they deliberately make it 5-6 years to wait for our brains to mature, esp us boys ;p haha.

anyway, sorry for being circumferential, but yes, India and Indon (depends which uni, my friend is in Gajah Mada, heard that it ain't so bad) would be better choices than Russia. If not, you can also opt for local U or some more well established med schools here like monash and IMU.

UNPAD is in Bandung, the tuition fees - USD56,850
U.Gadjah Mada is in Yogyakarta, tuition fees - USD55,000 (after conversion)
U.Brawijaya is in Malang, tuition fees - USD42,000 (after conversion)
U.Airlangga is in Surabaya, tuition fees - USD72,250 (MOST EXPENSIVE OF ALL)
In Sumatra:

U.Sumatera Utara is in Medan, tuition fees - USD51,000 (after conversion)
U.Andalas is in Padang, tuition fees - USD32,000 (CHEAPEST)


In Sulawesi:


U.Hasanuddin is in Makassar, tuition fees - USD41,000 (after conversion)


In Bali

Tuition fees for Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is around RM230,000 (most expensive of all) and the cheapest is Universitas Andalas (UNAND) is around RM105,000. UNPAD will cost RM176,000~

If you are on a tight budget - Universitas Andalas (UNAND) is a logical choice. You will have a balance of around RM60,000-RM70,000 if you studied there compared to UNPAD.

That is a huge savings which can be used for accomodation, food, transportation, books etc.
