I intend to take up AUCMS' MD UKM programme. If I'm not mistaken, this is the 3rd intake. However, the marketing personnel told me that it already has MMC recognition?? I thought MMC's recognition is only possible after the 5th year (pioneer batch)'s graduation. A quick reference with MMC's Jadual Kedua states that only ACMS's MD USU is recognized. I even called MMC personally, and was told that only ACMS' MD UKM is recognized.
Confused! So which one is true?? MMC's recognition is for the University or specifically for the degree ONLY. Clarification, please.
Secondly, regarding a bigger fish, USMLE.
I have gathered some info on USMLE which enables one to serve in US a International Medical Graduate. Only grads from IMED listed schools can apply for USMLE. AUCMS is not listed under IMED as expected. So it's MD grads can't take USMLE, right?
Is there any chance for AUCMS to be listed under IMED??

I never thought AUCMS' facilities would be subjected to much hammering. It was all glossy as it's in their Facebook page. Yup, I heard about that video conference thingy too and sometimes classes get cancelled altogether due to technical issues! However, their course fee is quite appealing, at RM308K for MD UKM. Not like some others that cost RM800K !! Recently they manage to ink a deal with local banks to provide study loans for medical students. And all the exams are exactly the same with UKM's, as I've been told by their marketing personnel. Lastly, I did saw a number of CUCMS students at the interview.
