Tales of Vesperia FTW!1!!
Mass Effects, Lost Odyssey and Last Remnant are good too.
Story wise, all of them suck, so no need to compare. On the battle system, wRPG and jRPG are different, i prefer jRPG style. Technical wise, wRPG always win.

Too Human fails terribly as a RPG. For an action game, it's ok tho.
Btw, am i the only one on earth that think KOTOR is just ok? I mean, it's good and all, but my heart irks when i see people like worshiping it. I like SW universe, i enjoyed Jedi Knight series very much, but i just don't have that kind of feeling for KOTOR... The only wRPG that i have the epic feeling is Baldur's Gate series...

Well, same could be say to the WRPG... the system is always the same, skill-based. But one thing WRPG has that is over JRPG is the setting. JRPGs are always, i mean it, ALWAYS the same, fantasy world, magic, save the world from the evil sinister... On the other hand WRPGs have a lot of variances, medieval ages, future, space colony, ancient world, just trying to survive, or the same save the world, magics, guns, lightsaber etc etc etc... Pprobably nobody likes The Last Remnant here, but i already passed 300th hour mark

One thing JRPG truly excels is getting the players to play multiple runs by implementing FREAKIN time-sensitive side quests, MISSABLE secret equipments, SECRET secret bosses, secret this secret that...

True, very true... in JPRG after u beat the secret boss, made the ultimate secret equipment, beat another ultra secret super boss, get another ultimate ultra secret weapon, the only difference is attack higher, defense higher, maybe cooler looking outfit/weapon, and in some occasion, a super-duper-full-screen-spamming-flashing-blinding-10-digits attack skill.
Hehe, i still remember playing Baldur's Gate 2 for half a year, tried like every kind of combinations (ok la, not all, it's impossible to try all, i tried those that i thought cool)!
