QUOTE(some guy from the Steam boycott page)
They wont care about 177.000 people! Modern Warfare produced earnings of about 500.000.000 $. SO f*** about 10.642.020$ wink.gif
Not sure if his facts are right, but even with 177k signatures, i doubt that most of them will go through with their pledge to not get MW2, so there.

And to quote another guy, he doesn't mind the hefty price tag, its the lack of dedi support that bugs him. I'm seconding that, seeing how i was hooked onto MW from the day i got it till today, didn't spend on other games throughout the year.

tl; dr, anything interesting, i.e. kotick/402 styled bullshine? One dude asked bout the pricing and lack of features, they simply replied "We don't set the price." Another asked about pings on IW.NET, they replied that they got 100+ ms and it's "playable". Gee, i'm sure the ping adds to the realism, like how a real life sniper takes into consideration windspeeds before pulling the trigger. rolleyes.gif

Well, good luck to you peeps who ordered the game, if by any chance it's playable by my own standards, i'll be joining you guys.

Bout the whole taking mw to new heights, it was bit of a killjoy when I read bout "pro" perks and death streaks, but I told myself, it's IW right, can't be that bad. Epic mistake there.

IMO helicopters are still okay, I mean spec ops are meant to get all the support they can get. For instance, the mission with the helo callsign Mosin 2-5 was believable,
since according to McNab it takes millions to train one SAS trooper. Predator strikes are okay too, considering how we already have UAVs supporting soldiers on the ground. But nukes? This ain't StarCraft sad.gif

Read until lean, went raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage <insert kopitiam pictar>.

Like, wtf? I used to poke fun at my friends who play CS and Dispatch of Army, gloating that we have lean and iron sights. Even convinced some Dotards to get MW2 too before IW rained shit upon PC players.

Then I'd blame poor publicity/marketting. Lol. Mareshians whut, done blaming this, time to point my finger at that. laugh.gif

but seriously now, like what you said, it seems like the only thing they're committed to is pissing PC players off. If it's really good, I'll have no qualms buying it, but even from the horse's mouth, MP is going to be shit anyway. 100ms = playable?

Wasn't there a theory bout MW2 being a test platform for a slew of games? A one-government, New World Order of gaming. First IW.NET then Blizzard's whatchamacallit.

Lol. That caught my eye too. Good find/photochopping.

You know what, Cheese? Your sig makes me feel like getting TF2 in place of MW2. Or at least L4D2. Like some subliminal Valve propaganda machine. laugh.gif
