You need to jump to AM3..becos there is no new processor from AMD untill 2011/2012..

I thought amd plan Phenom II FX at Q3/Q4 09?

im confused, wanna jump to deneb am2+ or deneb am3..

jump to AM3.. use kuma until Q4 2009.. start saving from this month..

issit better to sell my x2 6000+ upgrade to latest phenom x4 9950 BE or wait for am3??
9950 now rm 620...so the price for x2 6000+ quite ok for sale now...
if i want to wait for am3...will the 9950 cut kaw kaw to rm330??

Wait for a while then updgrade to kuma...if you want to use dually...or else try for deneb bro...

if u wan the performance, thn i will say beter wait for AM3..
if u upgrade to KUMA, there will not much performance gain if compare to ur 6000+,
if u get a phenom x4 the performance might beter.. but getting phenomx4 y not get a Deneb either 940 or 920 oso good..

but it is diff story if u wana ply ply with it...
thn u may get a KUMA, price will not burned ur wallet
thn may sell it change to Deneb, sell again, get AM3 phenomII

i wud say it depends on how deep is ya pocket & what kinda user u r:

if ya board doesn't support phenoms officially:

option 1 - hardware swinger:
- upgrade to 790gx/fx boards & play w/ phenoms (be it tri-core or 9550/9950)
- con(s): quite costly if u gonna upgrade again when am3 launched as amd is shiftin to dd3 platform soon (not so future proof)
- pro(s): u have better idea of phenoms oc @ later stage

option 2 - play-it-safe user:
- stick to what u have atm, wait for d price of am3 then only decide which path u'll go, either go cheaper route of am2+ or go d luxurious way am3.
- con(s): as usual, wait... wait... & wait... w lotsa catch up @ later stage
- pro(s): u can save up some ca$$$hhhh here & there

if ya board does support phenoms:

option 1 - slighty adventurous type
- upgrade to kuma, clock d @$$ outta it & had some fun
- con(s): u'll anyhow shift to quaddy someday, not much performance gained.
- pro(s): save up some $$$ & have some ideas bout phenoms oc

option 2 - lazy bum
- upgrade to 2nd hand agena as mentioned & dun care what d it world will be for atleast a year
- con(s): launchin of am2+ denebs is just around d corner, u'll regret if denebs' price drop to near agena's price in months. denebs clearly oc better while generatin less heat (more energy effiecient)
-pro(s): almost none but could be a wise choice if u can get a cheap + gud quaady while hopin denebs won't have price cut for atleast half a year

option 3 - play-it-safe user
- stick to what u have & wait until am2+ denebs are launched then only decide where to go - agena (cheaper) or deneb (higher cost)
- con(s): almost none besides wait for another 1 or 2 months only
- pro(s): save up some mooooolah
