i cannot run vantage at 3.8Ghz, bsod

but..

u gona try out is which prob that coz the BSOD ler..
frm ur OC way, u only ply with multi, this not coz by other spec(HTlink/NB/RAM), mostly is on CPU only..
any way, u can use the same Vcore, but bump a step for ur vHT/vNB/vDIMM...
try and c how...
if still the same most probably is coz by not enuf juice for proc...

diff mobo diff Vc...

juz now i play with HT, but with new ram, it is hard

will try bump those voltage abit

now im thinking to switch to Biostar TA790GX XE mobo !!

it hits 4Ghz !

assuming vantage is not fully utilize each core... so it can run on 3.7ghz pretty good, occt fail rite?
3.8ghz test, vantage alreadi meet the limit, here confirm occt also cant run,

why superPI can run? because it's single core application, maybe one of ur core already meet the spec to fit at desired vcore that u feed, others core, confirm fail..

u can't follow his setting, 920 is mean for HTT overclocking..

humm, because when he use giga mobo, his 3.5/3.6ghz vcore is same as mine

when he use biostar, he can hit higher clock with lower voltage

Hint u pikacu, test many combo (HTTxmulti) pretty sure it can take different vcore to stable..

which you mean...play with HTT requires lower voltage than increasing multi?

i still remember last time i play LE1620 try to stay with 1.184v stable at 3.0ghz
setting:

250 x 12 - Fail after a few minutes
300 x 10 - orthos 9 hours without error.
