guys what is the difference between GIGABYTE GA-MA770-DS3P and GA-MA770-DS3 ??

DS3 have rev 1.0 and 2.0..
rev 1.0 - sb600
rev 2.0 - sb700

so when comparing ds3 rev 2.0 (AMD 770 + SB700 Chipset) with ds3p rev 2.0 (AMD 770 + SB700 Chipset)

the only diff is the caps in use and pwm phase..
other things look similar.. correct me if i'm wrong..

sounds and look the same to me...not seem to have any difference at all...

yeah.. 100% 50k hours solid caps and japanese caps.. other than that, ots the same..

i dun see any extra silent pipe, Raid, Extra pci-e, extra sata

the temp look awesome, maybe with better air cooling can do 4ghz stable

acctually at bios all hdd detect
i use :
320gb primary os windows server 2008 64bit
500gb storage
1000gb storage
edi use another hdd windows xp
but still cant boot
is it my mobo prob...

you have to check the jumper at the back of ur new hdd..

there's slave and master if i remember well...

so the one u wanna set as main boot shud be master and others slave...

what u're experiencing happens when there's 2 hdd with jumper on master..

open ur casing then look at the back...got numbers one... it shud be written on ur hdd

SATA hdd are diff from IDE hdd ah, there's no more master slave jumper to set..
Everything can be set in the bios.. U just choose where the 1st boot hdd n all set to go already..
