i read somewhere that says AD500 would require an amp to fully appreciates it due to its higher ohm of 66 compare to AD300. true?

Own an A500 before. No amp is required. I think it is same on AD500.

CrossRoads Bijou 2,3 and 4. Is there any difference in the the SQ and price? Is it Bijou 2= Gun metal colour, 3=pink, 4= black? and that's all? I was thinking of getting a bijou coz i don really like the Mylarone Svi xD

The level is the bass level. Colours are variables.

Hi everyone.. i have a couple of question that need to be asked and i hope this is the right place. Today my Audio technica headphone "rosak" and there's nothing that i can do except to buy a new one. Here's the questions~

1)Anyone have used Audio Technica ATH-PRO5V? How is it?
2)How about ATH-PRO5 MS?
3)and also how about Creative Aurvana DJ headphone?
4) how to determine the sound quality of the headphone (frequency response, etc)?

i've tried to google but as you know, there are a lot of rubbish in the internet. I'm seriously in need of monitoring headphone. If you guys have better recommendation, please do let me know. my budget is around £60 or RM370, but i can consider the high price if the sound quality is reasonable. Many Thanks notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Monitoring headphone you mentioned?
Personally used ATH-M50, got it from Akabane. consider a major upgrade from M30, but the price may be too steep. SQ-wise, M50 is the winner for sure, and quite comfortable too.

I also wonder whether Sony monitoring headphone around same price as M30 can really perform on par with M30? Local Sony shop selling one at RM 250.

anyway, comparing bijou n yuin pk3, which 1 is better for budget around rm200? i dun mind other brand of earphones too, as long as they sound nice for tat price. i would prefer ear bud than in ear earphones..

Yea, I like bass but only to certain extend. I hate Sony IEM bass, it's too strong and uncontrolled.

how good is M30 compared to ATH-PRO700? I've tried to search for M50 but it's rare..and it's way way more expensive.

I fond of treble. Prefer not too much of bass. Currently I'm using Koss KSC75. How if I upgrade to Phillips SHE9850? Does SHE9850 produces good treble?

If you can save another RM50-100 maybe you can try to get Audio-Technica ATH-AD700. I found quite some nice reviews from the internet, and I just bought myself one today.. Hee.. rclxm9.gif

I got convinced quite alot by this thread at another forum and the user's replies..

yeah i saw you post picture of your new headphone. Satisfy with your purchase?

By the way, it's really hard to find ATH-AD700 here, mate. and so darn expensive (£120). That's two times more expensive. I have to top up around rm300, not rm100-200 laugh.gif

I just bought it in the evening today. It costs me around RM400 if I change the currency from Russian Roubles to Malaysian Ringgit.

Try go to Audio-Technica's website, and try to find any shops that sells AT stuffs near you. Its not necessary to buy it from Amazon or eBay.

yup, just check it from audio technica web site. £139. darn, it's RM755..besides, it's really hard to find Audio-Technica headphone here in northeast UK..so the best way for me is ebay or amazon.
