QUOTE(jind86 @ Dec 30 2008, 06:00 PM) well the name clearly indicates its purpose - sun glasses, which is basically to block direct sunlight to your eyes for UV protection and better view.. and well of course it is also an accessory to amp up your style =) great and good works TS...after this, would you mind to post any example of rare/cool/S.E sunglasses to poison all the visitors coming in this thread...that would make the thread getting more interesting and attractive... |

QUOTE(jind86 @ Jan 9 2009, 10:37 PM) hmmm im sorry to hear lord.. well as a last resort for sun protection, you could go for those 2-in-1 sunglasses, where it is actually a spectacle with an added sunglasses lens which you can flip up.. not at all trendy, but to block out some sunlight.. last time thought of doing that, buy a normal spectacle and add the sunglasses lens...but its seems i'm not the kind of guy that like to wear spectacle everytime... Added on January 9, 2009, 10:40 pmoh btw i'll constantly update the names of those who are active in this thread on the first post.. QUOTE(DeRossi @ Jan 9 2009, 11:15 PM) what is the brand of the second picture?...is that a sunglasses or normal spectacle?... |

QUOTE(jind86 @ January 13 2009, 1:54 pm) for oakley fans this looks more for robot... ![]() this model is the gascan, nice shades here as it is not too sporty, very nice unique square shape as well.. this shades is something you can also wear for casual use or when driving.. 4/5 stars This post has been edited by unknowndevices: Jan 13 2009, 02:05 PM |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Jan 14 2009, 07:02 PM) yes, I have seen the supplier price invoices of branded frames for shipments from SG to malaysia.. very low prices.. optical shops really markup kau kau.. that makes more Malaysia buying the "black-market" sunglasses than Original one, without knowing the bad-aspect that would effect their eyes... |

QUOTE(Fireball9 @ Jan 16 2009, 01:22 AM) Well said! its like throwing hundreds of ringgit to the river...can't imagine such nice sunglasses been thrown/break easily...such a waste... That's why Oakley came out with that service charge! It's because people misuse their lifetime warranty service and purposely break their sunglasses! How sad... so,Fireball any recommendation or latest sunglasses to share with?...just to poisoned those visiting this thread... This post has been edited by unknowndevices: Jan 16 2009, 08:59 AM |

QUOTE(jind86 @ Jan 17 2009, 03:43 PM) in short polarized is where the lenses reduce the glare therefore you have a more "natural" view.. go to http://www.allaboutvision.com/sunglasses/polarized.htm if u wanna know more.. jind, attached this website at the first post,it would be a good reference for the others... anyway, hoped its not late, congrats being the moderator...all the best in your works... QUOTE(Grimm @ Jan 17 2009, 07:16 PM) Tom Ford TF108 do you mean this(the jamesbond's sunglasses?):This is a freaking nice pair of shades! Damn! I want one :< But it'll cost 4 digits i guess. ![]() QUOTE(Fireball9 @ Jan 17 2009, 08:17 PM) Haha, I was having a promotion for this model awhile ago until it went out of stock. It was only 3 digits then bro... because my prices are ALWAYS the best! wow?...do you having the promotion just for that model or for the rest of the glasses?...next time any promotions do update with us here... Those buyers were so happy, could see the joy when they received their James Bond collector's item! if got extra cash, probably can drop your site or pm you...this applies to those interested in the sunglasses that you're selling also,it would help to boost your sales(if the price is cheaper than outside |

QUOTE(Grimm @ Feb 2 2009, 01:28 PM) Yup RB 3025 is the classic pair. Though, after comparing the pieces, I find the RB 3386 fits my face nicely. wah!...quite sometimes didn't visit this thread... Srsly, shades are weird, in the sense that you HAVE to try them out first. The 3386 looks super weird on screen, but are damn cool in reality. Btw fireball, PM sent! so Grimm what is your price for the above RB models mentioned?...and also the Oakleys model mentioned by sly69... so any recommended hot sunglasses on the market ... to jind, hoped you can post the website of polarized sunglasses that you shared previously,it got lots of good information for the rest... |

QUOTE(siles1991 @ Feb 10 2009, 03:58 AM) Anyone can recommend me any sunglasses. The catch is i`m wearing specs so i have no idea where to find those sunglasses made for people with specs. try to check Oakley and Ray Ban sunglasses...they got lots of nice, cool and attractive sunglasses to choose...or probably just try to check any spectacle shops(something like England Optical),ask them you wanted to add-on sunglasses on specs, surely they can provide you,but didn't know the price... QUOTE(skystrike @ Feb 10 2009, 11:26 AM) anyone can recommend me a sunglass than cost lower than rm400...polarized??? i prefer aviator or sporty style....... try to check with bro Fireball,he's helpful, just tell what is in your mind... QUOTE(tenno @ Mar 4 2009, 10:12 AM) I started using sunglasses when I started cycling in 1991. Back then Oakley Blades were pretty much the standard, but I could never afford an Oakley then. So I settled for pirated sunglasses, until 1996 when I finally was able to buy a brand name sunglasses just before the Kuantan Sukma. My brand of choice was Briko. I had Briko Zen, & Stinger. I still have the Stinger but no longer wearable becoz of a damaged nosepiece. I also owned a leisure Briko, dunno what model, but I lost it at 1 Utama when I left it on top of a public phone booth. erksss...during early nineties good pirated sunglasses already?...thought it started flooding during 2000... Just last month, I finally got myself an Oakley. The M-Frame Hybrid S Livestrong. I use it for pretty much everything, driving, running, etc. I'm a happy man... which one is yours?...guess that's why you bought the sunglasses because it really portray the "strong-image"... ![]() |
