Japanese night fighter pilots in WW2 wore dark goggles during the day to protect their night vision. I've been working outdoors under bright sunlight for more than a decade. I often have to work at night too. Been wearing sunglasses till 7:30pm outdoors for years. Rarely go into shopping mall, but if I do I don't bother taking it off either even @ 10pm. Anyway, have never noticed anyone including salespersons staring at me either and nobody ever asked nor commented why either.

I can drive or ride without lights at night if I need to and I appreciate the beauty of moonlight better.

For the ignorant morons out there that despise (ie: to look down on with contempt or aversion) other people that go about minding their own life and business.... they can go <insert f word here> themselves.
