UV protection on sunglasses nowadays are pretty basic, your average sunglasses should all have 100% UV protection.. unless you got yours from places like topman/zara/mng/carrefour then thats a different story.. sorry i love topman and zara but they should have never started selling those crap they do..

Guys, i'm a total noob when it comes to sunglasses. I accidentally broke my Adidas golf par 1 lenses and i can't seem to find any shop that sells the lens alone. It's been 8 months and i might have to get a new specs.

Any recommendations for sunglasses?

hmmm B&L have not created raybans for a very long time already.. and even if you would to get a B&L, the'd probably cost much more..

judging by the shape of the aviator in the pictures, they don't look right..

the problem with rayban is that it is too common on the street. you can easily find people using and selling it cheaply. you cant differentiate between grade aaa and original ones. just look at the thread above. many buyers gave good feedvack for a fake product.

The last time I enquired at Focuspoint, they told me that it's hard for them to get original Rayban replacement lenses. They offered their own set of polarized lenses...

I have been looking at RB Sungalsses. Does anyone know how to really determine if whether the one i am getting is not fake. Every shop claims to be providing the original one but the price can range from 350-680 for the same specs. Looking at RB3293 polarized.

Is there a way just by looking at certain markings on the specs that i can determine it's genuinity
Eg: i was told tat on the left lens there will be an imprint of RB on the lens, however 1 salesperson said that if the lens is plastic thus the imprint would be visible from behind and if glass oni visible from front, contradicting from another salesperson who said there is not such way to distinguish them.

Confused and afraid that i get the wrong one.

Advices to spot with pics wud be highly appreciated = )

Hey guys, I'm new in this thread and I have a lil request regarding to my eyeglasses. I have 4 pairs of original 80s Cartier sunglasses ( changed the frame to optical ones ) and I'm looking to sell them off. Is there any suitable forum/thread for me to sell these rare babies? Suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks guys and happy new year! notworthy.gif

Reliance at Telawi Bangsar has good customer service & reasonably priced glasses. My 1st Ray Ban was a gift years ago but lost it. Nowadays the Ray Ban glasses are so expensive. Am a Oakley loyalist....kind off. Have 2 myself and even bought 1 for dad.
