i think if u turn it off the battery will reach 100%
but when it's turn on..it will constantly show 99% so wont fully charge

my phone got into washing machine accidently....
u think it can be repair? coz cannot on until now.

hurm..usually itll only take 1 n a half hours to fully charge..

not the exact time coz im not monitoring my fon while charging..but almost in hour++

hmm mine i charge while the phone is on.. and it takes about 1 hour or lesser..but stuck at 99%..
if i charge while turning off i get 100% but havent charge while phone is off for a long time so i'm not sure abt the duration


u shouldnt have tried to turn it on after masuk washing machine edi :S
my fren once repaired a phone that got into salt water..took apart the whole thing and dry it with hair dryer..
and was working 100% after that..

hmm..Mine charge with phone on take about 1.5 hrs. Seem same with psychaoez.
While darkterra also charge with phone on, it takes about +/- 1 hr.
So it prove down to battery condition. It seems no much different turning off/on while charging
when the battery is in good condition.

FYI: My battery is 5 mths old as at Mar 2009.

What surprise me is the charging duration is only 1.5 Hrs
or I guess more than 2 hrs when it is in excellent condition.

Things to do when phone is wet.
a) Do NOT turn on the phone.
b) Dry it up everything - I mean everything -> Phone Circuit, battery, cover, SIM Card etc (under the sun or using hair dryer)
c) Back it all back and turn it ON
d) PRAY everything is OK after that...

nah i'm not sure if it wears down the battery life
i charge around 1 hour full edy
and my battery can last me 4-5 days with normal sms and calling and games during class

no la...i only try it after 2 days.
coz i realise that its in the machine after bout an hour.

Leaving it to dry by itself wont help becos moisture can remain inside. Plus I am sure your phone was on when it was in the machine right? I think ur best option is to take it to a shop and rip the phone apart... and clear all the moisture and hope it can still switch on. Good luck!

i havent encounter the restart issue
and also i feel my phone is less laggy as compared to last time
