QUOTE(jonny4 @ Dec 16 2009, 02:59 PM) I own a bottle of Aqua and a small sample of Marine. Marine to me smells less unique but fresher than the regular Aqua. In terms of the sillage and longevity, I still find regular Aqua to be better. But it doesn't mean Marine is a bad fragrance, I just prefer Aqua more. The freshness in Marine is a result of the added grapefruit note in the topnotes. In all Marine is just too generic smelling and not really worth the RM200+ for 50ml price. However the bottle, similar to Aqua's bottle is quite cool starter into fragrance, will like to get one for office daily use first. how about Aqua as compare to Bvlgari Black. after read over few pages of thread and some browses i find myself hooked to this brand. or u wanna recommend some for office use. Versace dreamer is also in my list to tryout as i see its well recommended by u guys

hey jonny u wanna comment some on Carolina Herrera 212 Men for office use and its comparison as to other fresh type fragrance like Issey Miyake. Gonna dig Aqva for long as my aquatic favor, so now looking for something else, but still do not want strong or too masculine type of smell, dare not to seduce my boss

I just tried 212 Men and find it not as sweet as Issey Miyake, and Aqva as well. But the smell is quite appealing and smooth, and it last well from spray on my skin. Issey gives me an icey feel from my last try. 212 is lighter imo but this is really what i like. Going to try both again before purchase. 100ml 212 Men for RM284, I'ma scout for somewhere else Now that i find Aqva, while it is an aquatic type, it gives me more sweet taste rather than cooling touch. Looking to try something way different soon, maybe the tyre fragrance - Bvlgari Black

QUOTE(jonny4 @ May 11 2010, 07:18 PM) Let me guess...the malay guy with the ponytail ? LOL. Lanvin Sport is alright but a bit short lasting and light..not worth the RM200+ price tag. My fav fr Lanvin is Arpege Pour Homme. didnt remember he has a ponytail but he's quite a talking malay. Lanvin Sport is indeed short lasting and the smell is nothing really special for me I even prefer Azzaro Chrome from testing picked up 212 Men and start using it today. feel when gf took a smell on the bottle and say it smells like 'zak fan' (mixed rice) but im really liking it alot, next trying target would be Gucci Pour Homme II

QUOTE(jonny4 @ May 12 2010, 08:19 PM) LOL yeah 212 does have that foody/oily smell initially but after a while it settles nicely. GPH II is one of my fav light scents. Lasts quite a good while but don't expect the person next to u to be able to smell it haha. aww thats sad to hear that for my preference. I tried Paco Rabanne Black XS, it also a close to skin type that does not project that much while stilll noticable and GPH II is probably even more close to skin than Black XS,right

Next bottle or two that I'm thinking to get would probably be casual of use. And one should be my daily use for bed time, and I won't be using 212 Men as she wouldnt wanna sleep wif zak fan smell Gotta scout for a lady killer romantic smell

I tried Dior Homme Sport today, other than the lemon and ginger smell, nothing really spectacular for me. The bottle is good looking nevertheless, yes i somewhat care of perfume bottling as well for collection purpose, I love the 212 magnetic bottle so much.
if PE is like CK eternity and Paco XS as you said, then it will appeal to alot people. I will goto try LJ later.
Nope i have not tried out any Chanel frags before, what type is Allure Homme Blanche actually. Thats bad news women Chanel costs alot more expensive, my gf is only into fresh/aquatic of type, preferably a good long lasting one

I havent tried out Slate i read its similiar to Chrome, tested Chrome before and i like it but didnt get a bottle so maybe i going to get a better choice between Chrome and Slate

QUOTE(jonny4 @ May 30 2010, 12:31 PM) Azzaro Chrome is probably one of the longest lasting fresh frag I can think of atm. Added on May 30, 2010, 12:32 pmI probably only tried Slate once so I cant really comment on it. But one thing for sure is that Chrome will definitely last longer . what are some good fresh frag that could last around 10-12hrs, my job is entering to peak season, so i always stay around that long in office. my current collection doesnt last me that long no need to be aquatic as i know aquatic doesnt last long.

QUOTE(jonny4 @ May 31 2010, 09:30 PM) Azzaro Chrome would be perfect for u. Chrome is one fresh aquatic that lasts a whole day. But I can't guarantee 100% la because each person's body is diff. But so far the general consensus is that Chrome is very long lasting. Sillage is very good too. I do like Chrome i tried it before, but is there any other good / better alternatives to it.

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Jun 1 2010, 12:02 AM) Of coz there are better alternatives but if u want fresh and long lasting, it's very hard to beat Chrome. 212 Men is worth a mention and so too is Chanel Allure Homme Sport...but like I said Chrome still beats both in terms of longevity and sillage. using Aqva and 212Men for office now, i like them very much and the longevity of both are satifsyingly good and it's just that i stay longer than until they're gone in office. I havent tried any Chanel perfumes so far, will go try out for comparisons soon. Any good ones from Mont Blanc or Dunhill btw as according to my situation

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Jun 1 2010, 09:33 PM) The only frag from Dunhill I like is Dunhill Edition. I find Mont Blanc frags very meh. just gave Chrome a 2nd try today, the smell just do not pleasant me as much as others so even it maybe the best in longevity i will still pass on it. anyways, if other than fresh/aquatics, what would you recommend, jonny looking for really long lasting and suitable daily office use. also tried out YSL Live Jazz today, like it and would like to own a bottle next time
