QUOTE(eltaria @ Jan 5 2009, 10:30 AM) actually, i'd imagine it'll be a pretty simple stuff just to restore the pre break, routing configurations. IF they have a backup and restore plan in place, it'll be pretty standard stuffs won't it? Added on January 5, 2009, 10:30 am31% packet loss.. damn. Minum Teh first... fix line later. Thats how these people mentality do.

We get improved connections, but the ping rate is still not good enough for any online games or ping sensitive applications.

Seems to me it is like this.. when u are fresh connected... everything works ok. (but not decent), then the lag kicks in and it get worst, later latency get from bad to worst and then timeout?.

Tell me that isnt a conspiracy thing behind commercial line with us.
Last night during 8pm I have a decent line. then this morning my line is not as good as last night but still acceptable, then as the time move towards 9am it gets worst and now 10am it get worst and worst? Commercial people start lagging us?

QUOTE(SeaGates @ Jan 8 2009, 01:48 PM) Seems like routing is still an issue now. Problem is how long they want to take to optimize their re-routing? minum teh dulu...... and still minum teh. my ping to Norway server from 420ms drop to 590ms + more timeout packet loss

As what I expected, all only Minum teh + day dreaming. Pick any network engineer that work in other private company can do better job than them. This post has been edited by billytong: Jan 8 2009, 07:05 PM

QUOTE(mylinear @ Jan 9 2009, 12:23 AM) Well, another call to TM and it seems the BRAS problem has been fixed. And when questioned about why there is still slow connection, they tell me that the technical people has confirmed there is an international link issue. But I get the impression that the relevant dept in charge of solving that only work office hours?? So keep waiting... So someone go ahead and call TM and ask if there is slow connection problems currently. I wonder if they will say yes or no? it was just an excuse for TM to cool down ur complaint. The next time u call them ask BRAS is fixed, why line is slow they will give u another "problem"/excuse.

QUOTE(SeaGates @ Jan 9 2009, 09:30 PM) Kinda pointless to just reroute specific routes etc, imo they should do a general reroute so they don't send everything around the world before reaching any destination. The route to Germany is direct but it's still slow, so I wonder why, I can be wrong on that though, not sure how tracert reacts with router based connection. Speed and latency is ok now, just need to rectify the vital packet loss problem. The latency is ok but not at the Optimal rate. They really need to assign the route correctly.

I dont really think they actually fix the problem yet. ping to Norway 477ms ( upped from 300ms) and the timeout come back in whats is this? good connection only last for 1 week?
