Any1 here familiar with 3000Xtra?

For those who shorted major pairs and yen pairs, be very careful. Last night i saw a shift from defensive sector, pharma to financial sector. A very low beta shift to high beta shift usually hints an incoming upmove. Just my 2 cents

Added on July 10, 2009, 9:10 amThe shorts made money on the yen pair on the spike down due to unforseen circumstances, aka the trade espionage accusations. If it wasn't for the cancellation of the coal shipment to China, the yen pair wouldnt move drastically down.

Watched the short, but didn't go in. At least for me, there wasn't enough confirmation. Thanks for the heads up

after i read AdamG posting, on the spot i closed GJ 50 pips, GU 18 pips

Do remember the yen pairs are very volatile due to earnings season. Next week we have BOJ and US banks reporting, i highly suggest to reduce shorts and increase net long (small size) as the yen pairs are mostly oversold and supported so far by the 100 sma.

Tuesday: Goldman Sachs earnings.

Also please be aware that BOJ might announce further credit easing due to the difficulty of smaller firms to get financing.

Alright, we need a new law here. Can we have a more meaningful discussion then just showing off? Newbies dont learn anything by READING how much u made. Be more constructive and contribute to RELATED studies that will help lyn members to execute a trade.

maybe we can create another forum where traders can boast their earning or their doom/losses ?

so we can keep the two pack of crowds separated.. intellectual and showoffs

fundamental and technical tools has mesmerizing effect on many new and inexperienced traders. without proper attitude and right mindset, you gave them the same system used by George Soros will also not make them successful. for those not really wanted to learn but trying to get free advice, free hot tips in here definitely should not trade or even play around with it. the only advice i can give is serious trader always depend on themselves. Trading in its purest form cannot be explained by words but going through correct information and some understanding will lead to correct decision in making any investment advice.

If I don't have anything useful, I refrain from posting. Pretty much explains the post count.

But I highly agree that posting one liners about one's profits without proper explanation and discussion isn't very beneficial to the forum.

Check out other forums like forexfactory.com and see how most members post their analysis together with their charts. There's a healthy amount of discussion going on in there.

I know his purposes, he just want to advertise his learning center, that's why keep posing earning pips to attract ppl but he never post his losses pips here.

If you want to say only people that enrolled in ur classes have access to the info that u have, then its better you dont mention it at all. Attitudes like that are less then welcomed in this forum.

If we're talking bout free tips, it depends on whether the traders want to share the information with fellow forummers. We have a personal chatroom that discusses fx privately. However only those that we deem worthy are invited in. U dont necessarily have to be pro in forex to join that chatroom. U just need certain amount of knowledge AND WILLING TO SHARE the info.

whats the use of a subforum for forex? specific currency discussion? well one could open it and request the moderators to pin it up. UJ double bottom for now.. check it out

Trading with proper mindset...correct...it is always easy to say and hard to do it especially when you encounter losing streak. I personally still learning how to handle losing week.

Still I don't agree advertising here, lowyat forum have a service noticeboard thread to promote your forex education service.
