I'd like to purchase the ermazine lining too. Am I too late to have the orders combined?

Edit: If not too late, I'd like the dark grey lining at 4m. If so, I'll have to find some other means then.
*
U should try PM jind86..as he is looking to purchase the lining too...apologise as i was thinking that u had already purchased the lining as u will be going to alt on this Saturday

I will probably need it by the following weekend, latest the week after that. How about yourself?

Silencer: No worries mate, it isn't your fault that they dispatched it so quickly. Furthermore, you did offer to share the mailing bundle. It was just unforeseen.
*
Let me know when u r going to alt...as I might be going there too to commission my 3rd navy suit....currently in the process of getting rid of all my OTR suits.....

Silencer, have you considered getting AL to make fully canvassed suits for you? He said he would do it for me for RM1K (2 piece), but I know he has padded that figure. RM900 should be more than acceptable to him. Binwani wants RM1500 for the same thing. At Behspokt, it is a RM600 extra.

Eets deh ahltimet in beespohk tehlering.
*
Just called alt...and u would be surprised on the additional figures that I need to pay for fully canvassed suit....hint>>>>about the same additional price charged by the best suit tailoring co at 1U... I believe that particular price is ONLY applicable to u as his "long lost son'...lol.......Thinking on changing my identity before going to alt...again.... cry.gif

The definition of poor is very subjective.....I'm poor too..or else my suit will be bespoked at Savile Row or Milan.....

btw.. what are the regular button sizes i shld be getting?
*
4 meters is adequate for plain color, but u need around 4.5 meters for pattern fabric to ensure the pattern is alligned correctly

Seems like there is a tradeoff between a clean back and higher armholes

Jind...u can procede with your pool order with Kenneth as I'm thinking to get different source of supply of Bemberg Cupro lining instead of Ermazine.

Nah, it's not the super breathable 60%Cupro/40%Viscose. This is a super thin pure Cupro Made in Japan for the US market. $7/m + $7 postage. It's very light, unlike ermazine which is robust and heavy. I still think I would prefer ermazine.

Added on April 18, 2010, 12:10 pmBTW, AL has never heard of Bemberg, nor of Cupro. He knows polyester taffeta and viscose twill, the latter is his premium lining. But as you all surely know (hah!) twill is a particularly non-breathable weave.

I asked several cloth merchants and none of them know anything about linings. They always recommend haboutai.
*
ouch..bemberg cupro lining is widely use in high end OTR suits.....it feels better than ermazine...

Dear all,

I`ve recently purchased a suit from E-bay and it fits me quite well. As for my information, a suit is only worn for formal occasion ( work, wedding dinner and etc)

I`ve notice that for a more casual appearance, a blazer is much more appropriate. Hence , i would like to ask. When is a blazer worn and what should be worn with it ( jeans? polo T?)

Thanks in advance
*
a picture of u wearing it...will tell us a thousand words...whether it is perfectly fit yours....

Are you going for peaked lapels like dsn's?

What do u think..as usual i am a total noobs abt the design..but so many people were telling me that the black suits would only be very presentable with the high-end fabric material...
