hye.. i want to ask, why i cant install vista x64 in my lappy..
because it said that there is an error..
then i restart.. it said that no bootmgr is installed.. then, i boot back to the dvd and repair.. after repair.. i restart back and then its bsod.. huu..
what should i do? is the cd corrupted? or can i just extract the needed file in the dvd only?
Hmm... XPS eh. Should not be an issue. Perhaps you need to install Intel Matrix Storage Manager (RAID drivers) at the 'Choose partition to installation' Vista install screen by selecting 'Load Drivers' at the bottom. because it said that there is an error..

Download the 64bit version here (copy to flash drive / CD / etc.) from Intel.com/support -> Chipset -> Intel Matrix Storage Manager -> Search for link to download 64bit Floppy version
Copy files into flash drive / CD / etc.. At the Vista partition screen, click on 'Load Drivers' and browse to the folder of the files you downloaded. If compatible, you can select Install or Next and it will automatically install.
