I honestly cannot wait. This looks like the third most polished film out there in the summer based on trailers behind Super 8 and Captain America. Reviews have been extremely positive from test screenings and with Bay promising to right the many wrongs of Transformers 2, I just cannot wait, if only out of sheer curiosity.
The future of 3D also hinges on the Box Office performance of this film. Will be very interesting to hear the feedback. I for one will be watching this in 3D. |

Can't trust Cam, he has vested interest. He wants/needs 3D to succeed.

I'll probably be watching this opening day in 2D. Don't wanna fight with the crowds over 3D. But if I ever double dip....

I cannot believe that Transformers 3 is only screened in three screens in big cineplexes (Mid Valley etc) given the demand and ONE in smaller cineplexes. What the hell do we have to do to watch it opening day? Rob a bank?!

QUOTE(aiman04 @ Jun 28 2011, 02:24 PM) Yes. Everywhere is full-house 2D or 3D 3D. Early reviews saying that it's the best 3D since Avatar. "How this came to be, many of us will speculate, but I’m pretty sure it is a combination of Michael Bay fully embracing and shooting this outing in full 3D – using the amazing camera set-ups innovated by James Cameron – with Cameron’s tech folks – and even some advice from James Cameron himself. Shooting in 3D requires you to slow down – especially if you’re Michael Bay. I’m told that it takes 3 seconds for your brain to properly process a shot in 3D, 3 seconds is an eternity in Bay-speak – but in this film – you’re going to see a dynamic to his action that is nothing short of jaw-dropping. I say “Jaw-Dropping” not with any sense of hyperbole – in the last hour of this film you’re going to see shit go down that will physically cause your jaw to drop. Hang open and perhaps end with a smile." - Harry Knowles |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jun 28 2011, 06:18 PM) I also boycott that cineplex edi. I complain until GSC don't want to reply. that was the tipping point. What movies btw?Added on June 28, 2011, 6:34 pmFor VIVA, do try and make it your last choice. Seats are small and no stadium seating. If you have a tall dude in front of you during a 3D screening, I'm afraid the only pop-out effect you'll get is the guy's head. This post has been edited by kobe8byrant: Jun 28 2011, 06:34 PM |

QUOTE(mnhma @ Jun 28 2011, 11:52 PM) LOL, why'd you care so much about the review? It doesn't make sense that one should skip watching a movie completely because of bad review(s). Just review the movie on your own lah. Saves me the time of watching a bad film that I wouldn't care for otherwise. Case in point: Green Lantern, Cars 2. |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jun 29 2011, 09:48 AM) Sad thing is he is, or he was, capable of making good quality blockbusters. The Rock, Bad Boys, Transformers and arguably Armageddon (minus the numerous brain/logic farts) were more than capable blockbusters. Sad that he's sold out to RoboGeisha v 3.0 |

Just saw this a few minutes ago. It is on par with Transformers 2 in being one of the worst experiences I have had to endure as a movie-goer. The only thing that has it going over its predecessor is that the action scenes are more coherent here than it was in Transformers 2 but as a film, goodness me, what a clusterf***.
I'll post more here but I remember someone saying that Transformers: Dark of the Moon is passed clean or uncut, I am not sure if this is true as I am pretty sure one of the smaller autobots mentioned the word cluster**** but was cut off, whether it was poor editing or censorship, I am not sure. |

QUOTE(fragglerock @ Jun 29 2011, 02:57 PM) kobeh some questions: Hmmmm, it's hard to answer that question. I don't miss Megan Fox as an actress nor would I watch movies solely because of her but in comparison to the Brit bird (with the uber cute ass), Megan Fox is the bomb! Give her the Oscar because Rosie is a Razzie lock-in for the 2012 Awards season.did u miss megan fox? hows the cleavage on the new girl? n lastly did u feel like a dumb fark watching this on the openin day? The new bird is cute, that is for sure. I have right-clicked enough images of her to form an encyclopedia of her anatomy. Not really. Went merely out of curiosity. I wanted it to be good but I went it expecting to slap my forehead a few times. Just didn't expect my forehead to be bloody swollen! |
