QUOTE(stormlcc @ Jun 29 2011, 04:53 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « "Dark of the Moon is low in nutritional value and high in fat." which is a GOOD THING, don't u get it??? since when does high nutrition interesting? No wonder there's a Super Size Me culture across the globe with this sort of attitude. Added on June 29, 2011, 6:13 pm This scene will make you want to blow your brains out. I kinda love it that even fans of the franchise can't keep up with the story

QUOTE(krk24 @ Jun 29 2011, 10:57 PM) basically movies with this kind of genre CG is what we must look for rather then plot...thats why we go to cinemas...to watch..otherwise just sit from home to watch those plot related dramas.... If CG is what the film is for, then humans wouldn't be in it and there would be no dialogue. As it stands, I would like to have my cake and eat it.

I'm going to give this movie a second chance. My friend asked me to watch this in 2D at Mid Valley with proper sound etc. Was willing to give me a ticket.
Let's see how much difference it makes.

Watched it again and I enjoyed it a little bit more thanks to a proper sound system - any scene involving the snake like Transformer was epic win. Car chase worked for me until slow-mo Sam was on-screen and the long sweeping shot of Optimus gliding through Chicago was quite breathtaking. Must admit like I mentioned earlier that the building toppling over is one of the best action sequences I've seen in quite a while.... .....but I also noticed a lot of shit I would have taken out of the movie which I thought would have made it better: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « - Parents => annoying as hell, the lecture scene made me puke - Carly => most scenes involving her - unnecessary coupled with the bad acting that lacked conviction. - Love angle involving Tutturo and McDormand => waste of time - Needless dialogue from A LOT OF THE CHARACTERS: 1) I've survived Egypt, D.C and a broken heart.....say another word and I'll rip your heart out....Already been ripped out. 2) As mentioned, anything involving the parents. 3) "I did not sign up for this" -> unfunny and like in The Dark Knight, disrupted the flow of one of the coolest action sequences in the franchise. 4) "Chicago is Ground Zero. Chicago is Ground Zero. Can you hear me? <Insert exposition from Carly> <Sam interrupts AGAIN!> We must blow it up. We must blow it up. Can you hear me? Way to go Captain Obvious 5) The short but retarded President Obama medal, cut it out FFS. 6) Middle of the battle? No probs my bro, gimme a high five and let us talk how it ain't easy fighting in a run-down Chicago. 7) We did not need the introduction of an astronaut in Transformers 3. Pointless and felt forced and wasted needless time. 8) Ken Jeong was genuinely funny but his lines were cringeworthy. He sounded like Juno. Deep Wang, Pink as in Pink Floyd? goodness me, did he graduate from the Diablo Cody School of Forced Hipness?
Forgot to ask: did anyone know the three songs that were played when Carly was introduced? I know one of them is Goo Goo Dolls. I am looking for the other two. One sounded like it was U2. This post has been edited by kobe8byrant: Jul 1 2011, 04:17 PM

Why didn't Optimus tell Sam about the thing he should have told Sam?
Hmmm...

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Jul 3 2011, 11:50 AM) Oh if you wish... Personally I dont think any spoiler no matter how big can actually further... spoil this travesty. I've seen it...just think that many people haven't (based on crowds at theaters) so it'd be courtesy not to spoil it from them and we do have some very passionate fans on this board.

QUOTE(n00b13 @ Dec 6 2011, 06:21 PM) LOL Spielberg thinks the 3rd one was the best. I love Spielberg but his ability to troll sometimes is offensive.
