QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jun 5 2009, 08:34 PM) @Nezu: I feel like smoked fish thanks to the heat. Smoky, hot and dry i would say drop the prestige. and get the new vitakraft life. the standard of prestige drop till very lousy n moldy Otherwise ok la, just that bleargh weather is bleargh I hear prestige jatuh standard liao. Aduih. My dad is going to help buy so listing some stuff down. Breeder celect for the bedding Vitakraft Life either power or wellness. The hamster is about 6 months old now so either one of these is ok. Prestige, I've heard a lot of good things about it... If both out of stock Harry Hamster lor. She's liking it. Oh ya, feedback. I would prefer the dehydrated pack or maybe the ground powder mix where I can make into a ball. Bean failed to finish the smoothie before she died, and so it expired and gone to waste. Tiny didn't like the protein flakes. Unless I mix it with something wet, sure won't eat it. However....you live so far T_T Sunway... Hardly go there anymore. QUOTE(eric138 @ Jun 6 2009, 12:15 AM) i think u can put for one night. tomolo morning jus discard all the leftover.. But papaya kinda sweet right..don feed too much.. LOL cute!! nice photos!Added on June 6, 2009, 1:55 amProfessor Hermes come again~~~ Today he sit in the hamster ball ,look at the sky and dreaming.... ![]() Hermes: I wan to be millionaire...so i can buy alot alot mealies... ![]() Hermes: Don KILL me pls... T-T QUOTE(noobtank @ Jun 6 2009, 11:48 PM) Wanna ask a question bout this if you all don't mind....can hamster live in a room with A/C ( like 16'C temperature ) O__O yes can, but don't put direct to the air con. and give them some tissue paper. so they can hv a blanket if they will cold.LOL? QUOTE(east_wing @ Jun 7 2009, 12:49 AM) breeder celect or back2 nature is good to use. |

QUOTE(noobtank @ Jun 7 2009, 01:42 AM) Maybe I should my hamster someday put in the Gundam glass case ( warm and no air O___O ) if u think ur tank is warm n no air. do change it to a better tank or cage. don't bath ur hamster. unless there are chemicals or harmful thing stick on them. just wipe them if u need and best is with sand bath. Can give advice how to wash the hamster? O__O I not suppose to wash in the toilet with me lol? QUOTE(DonnerGott @ Jun 7 2009, 01:52 AM) Just throw them in a bucket with 3/4 filled water and then Watch them. They are natural Swimmer... 1inch water for a big syrian or half inch for dwarf hamster is more than enough. 3/4 bucket is way too much water no matter how small the bucket is. hair dryer is not a right way to dry them too.Oh Ya make sure you use hair dryer to 'cool' them off. QUOTE(DonnerGott @ Jun 7 2009, 02:47 AM) Sigh... No ppl bother the word 'bucket' anymore. It's so small that even any hummy can stand... NVM it's nice to know that human cannot swim in a 20 feet swimming pool wihtout any ladder to get out while they can float on it. No PUN. ROFL no matter how small bucket is it.. 3/4 water i guess its more than 1/2 - 1 inches water. anything more than that will risk them.Added on June 7, 2009, 2:49 am FYI, The only time I bath them is where their skin got rashes due to sleeping too much in their toilet. Other than that, bathing sand is just fine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- never bath ur hamster, unless they are stick with harmful chemicals or anything may harm them. If u really needed. use wet tissue or wet cloth to wipe them Then put them in a bucket or carrier with sand. put them where to the sunshine @ 10am morning sun. NEVER 12pm or afternoon sun. that is too hot for them. Place half the tank under the sunshine. and half the tank under shade. so if they feel too hot they can go to the place with out sun. |

QUOTE(eric138 @ Jul 6 2009, 06:05 PM) Quote from the web kibbles are fine to feed as protein supplement when...'Dog food is generally NOT safe for hamsters. It has high levels of protein and fat since it is made to be eaten by a bigger animal, and can cause the runs, which is easily fatal in hamsters.' Crude protein 28%.. plus protein from ur hamster food + treats + mealies... erm erm..i think is a bit too much.... U can feed as treats..mayb occasionally give 1 or 2... but not part of daily diet lo.. pregnant mum, nursing mum, growing age (> 1 mth old) say like 1 - 2 kibles per day are fine |

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jul 7 2009, 03:11 PM) Feeling really stupid that I left the water bottle there. Should have removed it for the night. The lid was loose because of the hanger. hope u able to find her back...Impossible to stay safe; there are a gazzilion cats walking around We tried looking for a corpse or anything that points to the hamster's demise but up to now we found nothing. I've read up that hamsters can go missing for several days, even go back home. Tonight must find again... Blurjoey, is puffie and pillow moms-to-be yet? |
