Just got my P905 from kennyshan yesterday. Some problem here right off the bat. Just wondering, why does it ask me for a security code when i turn on the phone? I already switch off my SIM pin security function but when i turn on the phone, it asked me for a Security Code. What should i put into it?

able to access the stuff inside?
last time i think mine also use 0000 to openĀ  hmm.gif

Yes, i am able to access without using any Simcard. 0000 dont work though. And to try from 0000 > 99999 rclxub.gif

Edited:

Alright, finally got my phone to be fully working. Got the security code from Kenny and its working flawlessly now smile.gif

Anyway, anyone can guide me how can i change the Security Code?

1 problem that i found out with the phone, if your SIM card have PIN lock activated, you wont be able to start the phone. It will keep on saying UNrecognized SIM etc. But after i disable the PIN lock on my SIM card, its working flawlessly now. LOL..

@akachester

Try to download the phone e-manual @ softbank website.

This is the easiest way to find it out.

1. Go google.com
2. Type " Softbank P905i ", click the 1st link
3. Scroll down, you will see "e-manual". Download it biggrin.gif
*
Are they the same? Cause mine is DoCoMo P905i though. LOL..Sorry, kinda noob here.

LOL...Some kinda of code i guess. Changed to my personal pin anyway after that tongue.gif

Some help here guys,

I am wondering, can i use any Panasonic Handphone charger to charge my P905i? I have a VS3 charger and i am wondering, is it possible to use that on my P905i? Will it cause any problem?

ANd besides, since the P905i charger is using a different adapter, do i just need to an adapter changer or some kind of voltage regulator as well? Hope you understand what i mean. Cause i have a Wii and that is using a japanese adapter as well. But problem is, it needs a voltage regulator (or something like that) to change the volt to adjust to the socket for Malaysia. Was wondering whether the same is needed for the P905i charger as well..

And could we charge using USB cable? How to do that? Thanks..

Well, i have seen the voltage on both the VS3 and the DoCoMo charger and they basically have different voltage. I see from the DoCoMo is 6v, 650mA while the VS3 is 5.4v,700mA. Is it still usable? The input is the same though. Only the output is different.

And my USB cable is the FOMA one. smile.gif

LOL..sorry, mistaken. My VS3 is 6v, 650mA while the P905i is 5.4v,700mA. So, there shouldnt be any problem using my VS3 charger on the P905i right?

You should have ridge racer on your P905i built-in. Wonder why you say no games on the phone?

Did you check on the i-Appli part?

biggrin.gif

There is? LOL...Cause i am too used to the normal phones so i dont really understand the Jphone menu. Let me check later on the i-Appli part. But i dont think there is any games there IIRC. sad.gif Anyway, battery is out at the moment. How long do they last you guys anyway?

consider the big screen and the capacity of the battery, i think it is not bad...
i think Japaneses charge their keitai everyday.

LOL..Comparing it to my Touch Diamond, its not bad. tongue.gif But still, those screen is amazing. I just wonder why cant company like Nokia, SE do the same to their phone. I am amazed by such a beauty of the screen.

Edited :

And is there any website where i could look into to keep myself updated with all these Jphones? Who knows, i might be tempted to get another one. tongue.gif
