hmm...... nowadays gps really accurate, actually i cant believe it until i tried my friend's n95 8gb. i do find the screen of n95 quite small though...... bigger screen would be much better for gps navigation

sadly cant make use of f906 gps >_<
*
i believe that one day someone gonna hack it to full unlocked firmware like dark_alex does on psp nod.gif

QUOTE(awong @ Feb 7 2009, 04:39 PM)
not sure, my issue requires mostly just use the docomo usim in japan and run the software update to the latest phone software, has the zooming freeze issue that was listed on the docomo site
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Post...1&qpid=23532732
though something i cant replicate, it just happens random.
*
There's something i curious about their providers package, none of my friends there were using docomo's sim. Softbank the most and AU by kddi, they told me that softbank offered better package like free call on same network, even in same university they will use phone like walkie-talkie. doh.gif That's why before i bought 3 phones, SH906i P906i P905i then i requested my friend to switch it on insert usim and test. they not able to help because they doesn't have any docomo's sim.

QUOTE(boxer123 @ Feb 8 2009, 01:22 AM)
Hi, I just recently bought a 903SH which I think have HK-firmware. Would like to change to Japanese firmware, just don't know how.

One way seem to be http://iunlock.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=611 also, the seller on ebay offered me to help me get in touch with someone in hong kong to maybe help me.
Doesn't matter to me if I send the phone to Asia or America (I live in Sweden, so im kinda in the middle) But, the price on the website (iunlock.com) is $30.00 (without taxes and shipping i think..) but still, seems ok to me.

If you guys could maybe recommend the cheapest, best? way to change firmware i would be very happy

I guess its not possible for me to do it at home, with just a USB-cabel?

And one more thing... if i change firmware i dont have to unlock it again according to iunlock.com, is this true??
Thanks,

Marcus

mine i get direct from taiwan . so cheaper ...the only limitation i see would be the micro-sd card support which i think cannot exceed 2 or 1 gb

Miss moonie, user posted image
this modded sim was very perfect with P906i,because it doesn't have sim tray like P905i more easier to take out sim/bypass.
And one more thing u need to cpr 1st your sim in normal phone then try to insert back in docomo and u have to wait until bypass/sim initialized.
like u can see signal bar, but cant use sms/phone book yet just wait. biggrin.gif dont get mad and breakin' it.
