QUOTE(golbeza @ Jul 17 2009, 07:44 PM) if seen carefully, below the yellow orange based text, says something in katakana: "MG Guntank", is this a hint from Bandai i suppose? MG Guntank IS coming out.
It's gonna be remote-controlled AND compatible with G-Armor and RX-78-2.
Yes, you can put RX-78-2's upper body on Guntank's lower body.

The remote controlled version was first shown almost a year ago, but there were concerns that it won't make it to the production model. At 4500 yen I am somewhat sceptical that it will come with remote control equipment. Note that even the Gundam 2.0 costs 4200yen already and that's without any fancy gimmicks like LEDs let alone mechanical parts or computer chips. Next up... MG Guncannon 2.0 please? Just to complete Operation V.

Looking at Bandai's style, i'm guessing there will be two different kinds. A motorized Guntank, and one without. Something like MG Exia.

I'm about to purchase my 1st PG kit, and from experience, of the five, which should I buy? Strike Gundam Wing Zero (not Pearl Coating) Strike Rouge+ Sky Grasper AEUG MKII Astray Red Frame and what are the articulation and stability of each of them?

Strike, Strike Rouge+Skygrasper and Astray Red Frame are good in terms of stability and articulation (all basically use same frame). Strike Rouge+Skygrasper comes with a stand (or you can buy separate PG Skygrasper for normal PG Strike).. though if you prefer more "samurai" looks, go for Astray.

I somehow doubt that Bandai would actually produce a motorised MG Guntank as it would be too much hassle. It's not a simple procedure of just popping in a motor, as you may recall that the motorised prototype shown a year ago had actual moving hands as well. Which means they would have to scrap the entire internal frame and try to incorporate wires and gears and stuff like that. If they ever release a motorised version of the Guntank I would expect it to be something else other than the MG line. But we're not from Bandai so we can only speculate. Anyway, a custom-made 0081 Gundam. Looks better than the scheduled HGUC of course, but can't be sure whether this is an 1/100 or a 1/144.

QUOTE(akachester @ Jul 16 2009, 09:17 PM) Somehow, the feeling of getting the Red Frame PG still going to be my first choice unless this is going to look really really good. The 00 Gundam itself is simple...but with 0 Raiser, yeah, I'm talking about 00 Raiser....it'll be totally awesome... Looks like PG 0 Raiser will comes in a separate release thou... Imagine this, LED for the head (& eye) where it has the 00-Raiser wording when it dock the 0 raiser, then 2 for the GN-Drive....RM1k+ for this release?

But we're not from Bandai so we can only speculate. it's not that all difficult. just a small motor like in mini 4WDs and some sliding gimmicks in the shoulders to the arms should do the trick. I dunno, just a prediction Added on July 20, 2009, 4:30 pmQUOTE(han607 @ Jul 20 2009, 01:07 AM) I'm about to purchase my 1st PG kit, and from experience, of the five, which should I buy? Strike Gundam Wing Zero (not Pearl Coating) Strike Rouge+ Sky Grasper AEUG MKII Astray Red Frame and what are the articulation and stability of each of them? Strike Gundam = best PG so far. Decent articulation and stability. Slight back heavy when you connect the Skygrasper (but hey, they gave you a stand!)
Wing Zero Custom = back heavy, it'll topple to the back. Lack of stand means less poses. The MG WZC is a better choice.
Strike Rouge+Skygrasper = same as Strike but comes in a different colour. There's also extra decals for the chest area, unlike in Strike.

AEUG MKII is good, as good as the MG MKII 2.0, but with open hatch features. Thick and big feet = very stable.
Astray Red Frame = uses the same Strike inner frame but loses articulation due to bulkier armors. This post has been edited by Parody: Jul 20 2009, 04:30 PM

http://superrobotwar.wordpress.com/2009/07...zine-september/Lazy to post the pics, just click on the link above. 1. SHCMPro Unicorn... it's confirmed to be 1/144, but the price is appalling. For that amount of money you could get 2MGs and display them side by side in the 2 different modes. 2. HGUC Kshatriya... 4500 yen is quite high for something of the 1/144 scale, but looking at the amount of huge parts it's inevitable. 3. MG Guntank looks great but like the Gundam 2.0 all the wonderful details of the internal frame will be concealed by the armour. It also has movable fingers too, but once the outer frame cover is put on it will probably restrict any available articulation.
