I asked the old fella there, he said they're basically under Bandai but different "directions". They have a shop near New World Plaza, Penang; namely ROCK CLASS Sdn. Bhd. or sth.. Never been there. But i like the BB San Guo diorama, kinda cubie, hahaa... There are 5% off & 25% off gunplas.. 5% category is mostly the limited release, like clear MG RX-78 2.0, clear HG 00 Raiser, etc. As for the PG Astray at $991.. Well after 25% discount it shd be around $750.. Anyway i did apply for a membership card just for the kicks of it.. |

cool pics by everyone from the compy, but nah... me not 00 fan lol... and the sangoku entries are too few...
Anyway, someone got a delta gundam resin kit... http://www.xiaot.com/vbbs/dispbbs.asp?boardid=48&ID=27851 This probably gives us an idea of how an MG Delta Plus will look if Bandai decides to give us another Xmas present this Dec... Of course, there will be some cosmetic changes here and there to differentiate the D+ from the Delta gundam. |

Don't bother with GunPla there! about litt tak's pricing: just chill, instead of calling it pathetic, think what have those shops that sell u RM10 cheaper do in promoting the hobby? I dont think any of them will do contest event such as this where more general public would understand about this hobby. And why no MSiA D: If can, try to support support a bit la. The extra RM10 or RM20 wont make one bankrupt! If u r not happy with the pricing, just keep it to yourself la, no need putting such words. [Part 1 of 8]
Oh heya peoples of GMMT, just back to post again. Felt compelled since the Gathering turned out well. So happy I am now, got to mindmeld with the rest of the comradeship. Just no more elevator rides for us next time. I'm so sorry I've not been able to join in here more often, many things ensued over the year gone by; more work to handle due to manpower shortage, offdays mainly spent on homely chores, holiday trips and quality time with family, and the worst was my dear faithful 5-year PC went into hardware coma, egad But the calling of the hobby is not abandoned; buying of PlaMo goes on like usual, except this days more of them remain in the boxes yet to be built. Currently concentrating my time on the 00 series first. Still got no time to mod the Raisel+Sefer, maybe could just go mod my 00 Raiser DCV first and give 'im more torso twisting fun. The Haul result from the Gathering: MG Sinanju, HGUC Alex and EFSF Bananastand. The TimeMachine shop had the all-10%-off offer was soooo tempting, wanted to sweep moar HGUCs than I planned for. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The Sinanju certainly delivers, as would the MG Exia me hopes, lovely-looking piece. Somewhat immune to the PG Astray, since I'm still waiting on my ultimate choice of Gundam to be PG-ized; and more interested to spend my GunPla funds on continuing the current crusade of obtaining every one of the HG00 kits (maybe minus the lolTransAm ones). MG Astray would do just fine. HGUC FA Nu I may pass, but the HGUC Hi-Nu and Unicorn YAY! HGUC reentering the ZZ domain? Imma waiting for HGUC ZZ Gundam of all things. The igLoo-based HGUC Zaku Ground Battle set is real fun, tempted to buy two more for sufficient fodder to construct a cool diorama scene. Maybe I can finally use these 08th MS Team guys I tinkered with in my earlier years: http://img530.imageshack.us/my.php?image=144gmwork1lk.jpg http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/4777/144gmdetail12zz.jpg http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/2082/144gmdetail33rm.jpg And the coming HGUC Jegan; will this mark the coming of the HGUC range of post-CCA suits?! Hopes and Dreams... The Robot Damashii range made me rage a little, seeing some of the designs I've been wishing to exist in self-assemble PlaMo form. But not just GunPla alone feeds the soul now; new poison categories are entering the Fodder Family. The SRW gang just enrolled, TF gang growing larger, LEGO makes a comeback, moar Figmas and FFFFFFFFFF Busou Shinki as well(thanks to a certain brand of Rice that became finaltrigger). Increase of flow of assets away from my wallet. The Family Extended sends you greetings on this day ![]() To our comrades: b787, alexandros_18th, yellowpika, Jenkins, SyberXII, paul5005, naith, siang89, LagunaLoire, flamedragoon, yojimbo512, daiboken, benbeaninc, duke77go, MisterCrono, Zephro, kyu85, eizant, akachester, gl_sepul, golbeza, kianyap007, Ranchu7, SkylineFreak, darude87, crumpler2009, don^don, aaswan91, zhen_yu, C-Note, hcyap00 and kenzou, welcome to the GMMT clan. May you begin to enjoy draining your money on colourful molded plastic. CooLeRthings is moving to his new chosen path, we wish ye the best. Now on to my community 2 cent section: QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Jan 23 2009, 12:45 AM) To be fair to Bandai, having a non-rotating waist actually makes it more similar to an actual human body. When we rotate our torso, the movement is provided by the thoracic vertebrae (ipper body) rather than the lumbar vertebrae (waist). I expect to see this kind of physiology in say, the Evangelion? Also in the FSS Mortar Headds. But mobile suit movable frame tech may not need to be as accurate as the human skeleton build, with the ball-and-socket wrists and ankles, double-joints and all. A semblance of human flexibilty and mobility would do just fine.I'm not sure whether the range of rotation of the 1/100 00 and Cherudim is better or worse than their HG counterparts, but I guess most people would prefer articulation over realism. QUOTE(Helldiver @ Feb 8 2009, 09:37 PM) Nice O-Raiser guys, anyone bought the QUICK KITS GUNDAM 00 SERIES yet ?? I got the 00 Gundam one perched on a stand on my car dashboard that swivels around when I steer; like some kind of G-force indicator. How should I drive in order for it to start glowing red?Its really fun! Price is RM16-22! QUOTE(gundam76 @ Mar 27 2009, 03:16 PM) 2. It is nice that you respect your girl friend but you also need to tell her that at least the money is spent on Hobby instead of going to Pub drink, smoke or even gamble. Just tell her nicely that this is your interest, your hobby...I am sure she will understand if you approach her the right way. This made me snicker at my self-reflection of my existence; so far I'm never typical BF materiel, more like social experiment materiel.I'm going to go under my bed and weep silently. QUOTE(Silverfire @ May 20 2009, 11:12 PM) The red part from UC Gundam is actually UV reactive... So just light up a pair of UV CCFL and eureka! ...OH.Now I want to UV my entire room and find out any other hidden surprises... PS: So sorry for the nonreply Silverfire, my own Unicorn Gattling piece was a last-minute acquisition made possible by cjlai, who was very gracious in letting me buy one of his last two sets. So far no idea if there's anymore. QUOTE(wuwah @ May 23 2009, 11:37 AM) actually, how old did u all start gunpla, and how old when u are start to seriously gunpla such starting to paint etc.. Time for an essay. The starting time of my serious GunPla? That's easier to elaborate than the how I got into the realm of Gundam itself. Here goes. Time was when I'm still a Form 3 student in Penang Free School circa 1997, my very first GunPla purchase was the MG RX-78-3 G3 Gundam. Loled a little now since I realized I began GunPla with a rather high-level grade, but I wasn't daunted by the amount of pieces and such; being raised on Lego somehow diffuses any fear of ZOMG Million Pieces and Parts Argh Where Did That Finger Go Bloody Multicoloured Carpet Can't Find Shi-ASDF-. Started with small amounts of GunPla, generally in the 1/144 range since that was what I could afford then and there was more variety in that scale range. Bought random kinds of MS kits because I have yet to endear myself to any particular Gundam series. Of course Gundam wasn't the only series I involve myself in. Plenty of Macross, Evangelion and other titles like FSS, Patlabor, Nadesico, and other Plamo from my other favourite mecha-related titles. I'm a story-oriented collector, so the greatness/uniqueness of a particular show will somehow influence my choices of what PlaMo to get. As of now my GunPla primarily consists of 1/144 scale kits for the main purpose of collecting as many different types of mecha designs as possible; some 1/100 kits as title or flag mecha, and many other random scale/types of models not acquireable in the first two categories. One last hurdle for me in the modelmaking business is the finishing process of priming and airbrushing. Still don't have the airbrush device, durrhurr. Did some painting by hand once; my silver-and-gunmetal MG Gelgoog Cannon is a testament to that. Also have done some medium-level modding, though will go to the high-level in the future since I've some wicked conversion/scratchbuild ideas to bring forth (MG Devil Gundam, MG Mudrock, 1/144 WaDom, some of my own original designs, etc) Since losing count of the number of stuff in posession after acquiring item no.200 which is the MG Turn A, I've pretty much jaded myself on this hobby. Now I'm just another rampant PlaMo downloader.
