if seen carefully, below the yellow orange based text, says something in katakana: "MG Guntank", is this a hint from Bandai i suppose?
*
Not a hint, but it really is coming out...

Good waist articulation yet it's not a surprise given it's similarities to the Gundam 2.0's torso. The caterpillar tracks seems like a pain in the butt with all those individual pieces but at least this allows better flexibility.

New HGUC from the 0081 game.

The colour scheme reminds me of F91, but overall I think the design is too cluttered. Having said that, I kinda like the huge beam cannon mounted on the right side of the backpack.

MG Guntank IS coming out.

It's gonna be remote-controlled AND compatible with G-Armor and RX-78-2.

Yes, you can put RX-78-2's upper body on Guntank's lower body.  laugh.gif

*
The remote controlled version was first shown almost a year ago, but there were concerns that it won't make it to the production model. At 4500 yen I am somewhat sceptical that it will come with remote control equipment. Note that even the Gundam 2.0 costs 4200yen already and that's without any fancy gimmicks like LEDs let alone mechanical parts or computer chips.

Next up... MG Guncannon 2.0 please? Just to complete Operation V.

Quite true...but you know what? Looking at Bandai's style, i'm guessing there will be two different kinds. A motorized Guntank, and one without. Something like MG Exia.

*
I somehow doubt that Bandai would actually produce a motorised MG Guntank as it would be too much hassle. It's not a simple procedure of just popping in a motor, as you may recall that the motorised prototype shown a year ago had actual moving hands as well. Which means they would have to scrap the entire internal frame and try to incorporate wires and gears and stuff like that.

If they ever release a motorised version of the Guntank I would expect it to be something else other than the MG line. But we're not from Bandai so we can only speculate.

Anyway, a custom-made 0081 Gundam. Looks better than the scheduled HGUC of course, but can't be sure whether this is an 1/100 or a 1/144.

Lazy to post the pics, just click on the link above.

1. SHCMPro Unicorn... it's confirmed to be 1/144, but the price is appalling. For that amount of money you could get 2MGs and display them side by side in the 2 different modes.

2. HGUC Kshatriya... 4500 yen is quite high for something of the 1/144 scale, but looking at the amount of huge parts it's inevitable.

3. MG Guntank looks great but like the Gundam 2.0 all the wonderful details of the internal frame will be concealed by the armour. It also has movable fingers too, but once the outer frame cover is put on it will probably restrict any available articulation.

Jegan has quite a number of areas that need touchup, while the 0081 Gundam looks sweet. The shoulder rifle kicks ass...

hey does anyone knows the difference between MG Zaku II 2.0 06 F and J version?
*
F = two different bazookas, one door knob, slightly larger backpack with 2 thrusters on each calf
J = leg missiles, smallest backpack among all Zaku IIs, no thrusters on the calves

Custom made MG Astraea... No one will be surprised if Bandai releases this in the near future together with the red Astraea F.

Tell their parents how much each gunpla costs and ask them to buy it for their kids lah.... walaoeh how can simply give away 100 bucks gunpla to little kids who will probably play with them like action figures...

Good to see that Astrays are finally getting some MG love. It'll be interesting to see what improvements Bandai have included in MG Astrays since the 1/100s already have MG-like articulations. Full skeleton, cockpit, movable fingers will definitely be present; and maybe more decals and waterslides perhaps.

MG Blue Frame 2nd L... regardless of any mods it'll still suffer from the backpack's weight. sweat.gif

HGUC Unicorn... meh... non-transformable it seems... and the knees are not any better than the MG, unlike the HCMPro. Hopefully they will keep it at the CCA-line price range.

Awaiting for Banshee and MG Delta PLus.... tongue.gif

MG 2nd L... The whole sword/backpack has been redesigned, with the blades getting more intricate details instead of two plain plastic boards. The gatling looks comparatively shrunken, and the thrusters were redone too. Yet the amount of joints involved in this weapon plus its weight is going to kill the hands. Note that it is being supported by a separate action base. The rambo blades look more menacing now too.

Overall it's looking pretty decent, but I dislike the fact that the Astray loses its chunky legs and instead had the slim slender lower limbs similar to the Impulse and IJ. dry.gif What's wrong with being chubby and bulky?

Closeup pics of the MG Guntank... hopefully it will signal the arrival of a Guncannon ver2.0 soon. Love the tiny figurines of the entire White Base crew...

And unsurprisingly, the Neo Zeon units from Unicorn will be a paintjob nightmare...

RD Unicorn gets gatling... at least in the prototype phase... damn it, why don't MGs and HGUCs get the addons? Give the HGUC Banshee/Unicorn some gatlings to compensate for the inability to transform !!
