I think this question was asked in some other hobby forums, and apparently if the parts are broken but still in the plastic package Bandai will replace them for free. But if it's already opened then you can't. How to get in touch with Bandai is another matter, probably email I suppose.

Anyway, Goufy's review is up on dalong... The retro style seems to be less of an eyesore with the military decals applied, and in fact the Goufy looks so much more appealing now. Luckily my wallet's empty hehe...

HGUC Hi Nu... Lots of paint required especially for the weapons. And yeap, only 2 functioning funnels.

Like what Kyo mentioned, S'pore gunpla ain't any cheaper compared to M'sia. In fact, most of the places selling gunpla that I've visited before have higher price tags after conversion, no thanks to our weak ringgit and their strong SGD.

Of course, I must admit that the places that I went aren't exactly the "cheap" places like we have in Msia. Yet if you really want to try your luck, there's one at Cineleisure Plaza along Orchard Boulevard (just behind the busy Orchard Rd) which has prices slightly lower than Takashimaya or other departmental stores (think Jusco prices)... There are a couple of smaller anime shops along the various plazas in Orchard road but the prices ain't cheap.

If it's your mum that's giving those gunpla as a present to you, maybe price won't be an issue. But if you're paying them yourself, then you're better off 1)getting them in Msia like Famitoy 2)getting them from LYN traders 3)buy online (buy bulk and fill up the box to save shipping costs).

care to give some examples of the prices? if they are cheap maybe I can drop by next time when I go back to JB.

HiNu and Nu doesn't exist in the same universe, so you cannot say HiNu is smaller because of the technological advancement. It is smaller because Izubuchi designed it so without giving much explanation as to why. However, there might be some info in the MG HiNu manual which would explain the origins of HiNu much better; if someone can translate them that is.

HiNu is the Nu equivalent in Belthorchika's Children, same as Nightingale being "the Sazabi". Try thinking in Endless Waltz terms - the WZC is the Wing Zero of the TV series, just drawn differently. I guess the "HiNu" is merely a name to differentiate itself from the actual "Nu" used in the movie.

It's a misconception among fans that HiNu is the completed/upgraded version of Nu, when in the novel itself everyone referred to the HiNu as the "Gundam" or "Nu". And to add in something, the Nu (HiNu) in the novel carries an additional weapon similar to the Hyaku Shiki's mega launcher that has to be directly plugged into the Argama for energy supply.

Personally, I prefer the novel version as I think Belthorchika would be a better female partner to Amuro as to continue their relationship in Z. Chan from the movie appears to be too random and didn't get enough character development. Plus Amuro's legacy goes on with the unborn newtype baby hehe...

From how Bandai does their business, it's very likely that 00 will have more upcoming MGs... hard to say which one though, but usually the main protagonist gets the most love so possibly 00 before any other units.

SHCM-Pro Unicorn looks pretty decent, at least it has better knee and ankle articulation.

Kshatriya is "only" 17cm, a tad shorter than the HGUC Sazabi. But it's going to be very wide with the quadruple wings. Very detailed as well, with the hidden arms fully operational plus removable funnels. The price isn't going to be pretty I suppose, but it'll be worth it as it spreads out like an umbrella on top of a Zeon action base.

But looks like another paint fest for the "sleeved ones"...

SHCMPro Unicorn... it says something about 1/100.... I thought SHCMPros are supposed to be 1/144?

HGUC Kshatriya prototype... looking good there, but no real surprises for now. But I didn't expect ALL the funnels to be removable, especially when the Hi-Nu skived on this aspect.

No LED, just clear green parts perhaps...

Even with LED how often are you going to switch it on anyway?

Ugh... recycled Seeds.... the new Strike is a horrible mashup of the old strike parts. Stick the Aile pack boosters on the shoulders and slap on a shield on the back... yuck... And the new Buster looks even worse than Verde.
