iianm from the forumers here 110km/h for manual is 3.6k rpm at 5th gear, 3.2k rpm for auto at 4th. auto has higher final gear ratio.

actually when i was on the Kesas highway the other day it seemed stuck at 100km/h too. need to prod the throttle abit more b4 it increased. thought it was the ecu programmed version of cruise control in order to reduce throttle response at high speeds and reduce fuel consumption

QUOTE(-storm- @ Jan 28 2009, 08:55 PM) knowing some1 working with the insurance company better. usually the insurance adjuster (the guy that accesses the damage and calculates how much the damage is worth) is the part that takes the longest. if know some1 from inside, can ask them to check insurance claim, then ask adjuster to go check the car out. |

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Jan 28 2009, 09:51 PM) How about bringing the car to proton and ask them about the total repair cost. then ask them to certify and claim with the insurance? The workshops dont take long in putting in a claim as long as u have all the documents prepared. its always the insurance company that takes a long time to process the claim, approve, and send adjuster to see if they can reduce the amount claimed. some insurance companies have understandings with some workshops, no need for adjuster. workshop claim, insurance straightaway give cash. but alot use adjusters to save money. |

QUOTE(pojam @ Feb 5 2009, 01:46 PM) Hi all my BLM brothers. I want to ask, you guys know where to get the bodykit we all see so much? The ones I saw on road was quite nice, skirting and spoiler made the car really look sporty. already using fuel injection. multi point injection to be precise. dunno bout bodykit, no cash to get one. How much is the bodykit? Btw, is the BLM still using carburetor? |

as long as ur not pressing the throttle, no fuel will be burnt cos the throttle body is closed. so if u wanna decelerate u can do it in any gear, which is called engine braking. but the lower the gear, the more the engine braking.
the only time fuel is burnt is when u press the throttle or if the rpm drops too low, then the fuel is burnt at the idling rpm. but more modern cars have shift blips that increase the rpm (burning more fuel) when shifting gears, even without pressing the throttle. |
