hi all,i got a problem here,i found that my car hard to reach to 120km/h unless i press hard...even in a long highway road...if i jus press slowly then it will reach 100km/h then stop...is it normal ?? some of ur sound like easy to go 120km/h
*
hmm....i dn't know abt that...but really have to press up....above 100KM/H i think need some time to go further
need other members opinion as well

hmmm...  maybe the first batch and other batch got different gear ratio?  rclxub.gif
*
hahha....no different...just that auto is 4 gear...manual is 5 gear
so will be different...many manual members also 120KM/H at 4k
cannot up so fast cuz u didn't step hard or didn't go high speed so often
cuz the ECU will monitor and match your driving

First, happy chinese new year to all. Just now, our BLM bonet was knocked by a MyVi because the person drive too fast and too close to our car. When the front car suddently break, our car also break and the MyVi driver knocked us. May I know how much for the repair of the lamp, bumper, fixing the bonet cover and painting? I'm currently waiting for the insurance... The person refuse to pay on the spot.

TKS...
*
u mean the myvi is on your back...is it?...and knock your back?
if it is...mean is the myvi's fault...it's the myvi's fault for following u too close...anyone that knock u on the back is his fault
report police also he will lose

No, that guy says he would not pay. Just go for police report to claim insurance. If only the Myvi guy wants to settle on the spot, there's no need for us go make police report and claim insurance. so now just wait for the claim. Someone say it's damn long...
*
ya..just wait claim..claim everything from the myvi guy...it's his fault
long or not ah...depends oh...here in sabah as i see my fren and relative, all kinda fast

knowing some1 working with the insurance company better. usually the insurance adjuster (the guy that accesses the damage and calculates how much the damage is worth) is the part that takes the longest. if know some1 from inside, can ask them to check insurance claim, then ask adjuster to go check the car out.
*
ya...this guy is right....if u know someone inside...it's faster
and ya, depends on company itself as well

guys when the petrol lights is on how come i can only pump less than 30l into the tank?
*
because the other 10L is hidden from the meter...spare fuel
to keep us that dn't wanna pump petrol when it start blink to avoid breakdown at roadside biggrin.gif
if no extra 10L...many of us will always be seen on roadside cuz car no petrol

wow means more than 10L hidden?
*
the tank is 40L
but the meter only for 30L
so before the 30L run out...sure start blink mah...just like other car also
so after blink...u still have around 12L+- but i recommend u go fill it as well....unless really no gas station or not enough money

hi bros & sis....here jz my lil humber request....
i"ve seriously consider between a blm & savvy,both i like...
finally,i made a choice n booked a savvy,which i haven test drive either 1.
i chose savvy cos mainly for its gd fc n handling, as forumers all around
said so.
jz curious to know if i had made a right choice?
anyone care to make some comparation?
thanks!
*
for me...blm win...it's bigger, wider, more space, cheaper spare parts
just lose the pickup to savvy only

Its actually approx. 8L not 10L.. (its in the manual =P)

Added on January 30, 2009, 6:22 pm

nope =( I wish it had orange illumination .. wa then nice...!

Added on January 30, 2009, 6:27 pmI just sent my BLM to repair the alarm (the alarm works, but when wanna unlock the door LOCK thing doesnt pop up, so i have to use the key).. i sent it in at 8am... i wait there 4 hours to repair that! = =

Any1 got the same prob as me.. cuz i feel this whole forum only got prob wif power window... lol.. classic proton problem. haha..
*
the manual isn't always right....when we fill up when it start blink...it's around 28L+-..means we still have arounnd 11-12L+- left
cuz the tank is 40L
ya...we all kinda only have prob with the power windows only...the lock doesn't pop up maybe it's the wire inside putus

or it could be like the blink give us warning that the main tank is getting empty the spare not yet touch? so 8L might be possible
*
only 1 tank mah....total 40L...just that the meter is on the top 30L only
the below 10L is spare
all car meter sure start blink before it finishes the 30L mah..if not sure breakdown already
if 28L left 8L mean total tank is 46L is not reasonable...fuel tank usually 30L, 40L, 50L

i tried to drive alot after blink...never hit 30L before as well

wow then never use spare tank before?
*
erm....can say less
cuz mostly after blink u still have 1-2L before hit spare tank level
so u drive after blink and go pump also sometime didn't hit 30L
now i lazy calculate FC already...mostly just pump RM30 compare to last time let it blink and pump full tank

Hmm..  i think total reserve is 8L... Next time i try. When the petrol light come on, i will see how much i can pump.

I just realise today that a metal shrieking sound at the break pad.. means time to change it.. ... so important i oso dunno zzz
*
ya...u try 1st....i'm pretty sure is 12-11L....cuz we all tested it before
so fast already change brake pad ah??...u sure brake alot oh

QUOTE(wltw87 @ Feb 1 2009, 12:13 AM)
Hmm but then my brakes seem fine though.. but it already started to shriek months ago.... = =.

How r ur brakes like.. if u ever drive myvi plz compare it to that... cuz i drive b4.. and saga brakes are way way way way wayyyy worse than that of myvi.

Added on February 1, 2009, 12:17 amthe metal shrieking is actually a failsafe to say when the break pads are in need of change. BUT i dun believe my brakes hangus in 2-3 months. = =. Maybe cuz constantly in traffic jam so hangus faster...

I would of changed it at COE the other day i went (to fix alarm) but i forgot to tell the guy abt the brakes.. then i told him 4 hours later (car hasnt been fixed yet, still in process =.=) and he told me, if wanna check only can pick up 4 hours later when i already waited 4 hours =.= So i just went back home.. i already sooo tired waiting there =.=...
*
hmmm...never driven myvi...but i drove other car...brake system seem same to me...LOL...dn't know lah
maybe it's the part when we have to press deeper
but i brake this hard on this car before.....follow a car very close...suddenly the front car stop instantly....cannot react so fast so just press brake...and it stopped...didn't hit....almost but didn't hit
if u want him to check the brake for u and the brake pad...better u just change outside....they will sure charge u
brake pad, spark plug and tires are not under warranty...can change outside
cuz on 1st service i complain cannot start the car...need to start many times before the car will start...they change and charge me for the spark plug....

Har.. reli ar! Oh i tot covered under warranty. Hmm do u know how much it would cost?
*
ya...cuz things that will wear out is not under warranty mah
like brake pad, spark plug and tires all will wear out
u change outside cheaper and can choose better one...like ferodo, bendix, sumitomo
kinda noob in brake pad...better ask other member see which one is better and suitable for blm
