Beware, when I call Proton iCare hotline the operator told me that bringing own engine oil will void the guarantee. [Bear in mind that the phone coversation is recorded]

But when I call the SC they said you can bring ur own engine oil.

Since I have a spare bottle of engine oil at home, I brought it for my first service, and when I got my service invoice, it's stated there that "the customer provided engine oil".

I'm not sure about the implications, but I'm just telling what I know. Hope this helps.

I`m planning to get a SAGA.... the problem is....

I found the price (s) B-Line RM36k and N-Line (s) RM31.5k....... whats the different?
My planning is , i buy the N-Line then go to paint front and back bumper to white color. and add the tayar cover...... so the outlook will same like (s) B-Line?

Then i can save RM36k- RM31.5k = RM4500 ?

How do u guys think r? give me some advice plss 

I'm not really sure what brand engine oil I used (actually it's just cap ayam bought from carefour XD). But it's 20-50W la...Why?

I own a N-line saga, if not mistaken here are the differences compared to B-line (1st batch) :-

1) No alarm, but comes wit central lock, install alarm outside include labor sud cost ard RM200 (even comes wit tilt sensor while original never provide ).

2) No power windows (proton's nitemare, beter instal outside instead of goin bac SC ).

3) Steel rims wit no rim cover but center caps, basicaly same rim as B-line except paint wit silver instead of falt black, sumore wit nicer wheel nuts (chrome). If u pla 2 change sport rims why bother bout those wheel caps?

4)  Only available in white color (personaly i think looks great ).

5) Ful black fabric seat, B-line seat got mix wit some grey fabric in center. Basicaly more practical coz not so visible 2 stains. See wat seat color is toyota vios top S spec

5) Black color front & rear + rear plate garnish . Cost 2 send workshop sud ard RM300-450 (if u wan 2 paint d side mirrors n door handles like M-line).

6) No difference in terms of CD player.

7) Only manual transmission available (heard alot complains about auto petrol consumption, mine manual ard 13-16km/litre).

Actualy ther's not much mechanical differences across all specs, same engine n same transmission. Mos stuf r cosmetic differences except the dirver single airbag. Even d soundproof is same unlike toyota vios j spec wher d front bonet insulator is missin (coz sage original dun even provide )

regarding to the IAFM thingy, do we need to tell SC there to order the IAFM for us before we goign to change it? or there is ready-stock over there? cos i suspect my IAFM died already, can hear the "tak tak " sound when car is idling, firstly i tot is timing belt sound...  

i got this kinda sound from my clutch oso. went to SC n they told me it's caused by rusted part. did u guys check ure power steering pump too. mine got rusted under the aircond hose n the driveshaft. the SC ppl help me to sprayed with black paint bought by me n redirected the aircond hose to the open ground.

i have change my iAFM b4......mileage 4500KM......
now is around 18500KM........

any type would do?

also I have to fill my power steering liquid each week.. yes, its because of leaking. SC Batu Caves says can only repair on weekdays (guess Im gonna have to apply AL then)

Err..what happen when the iAFM rosak? FC become worst?

I heard d IAFM inlet manifold is made of plastic, when it's declared faulty n replacin it did u notice any cracks or unusual 4 tat part? If not i think d only way 2 identify is 2 listen 2 engine sound. Mine sometimes abit harsh when cold start at morning. Not sure it's engine or tat manifold tat causing it. Previously usin 20W50 engine oil n 2nd service SC recomend 15W40.

my saga FC damn teruk, auto one why get only around 12-13km/liter

Hey guys, juz wanna ask...is our BLM brake pedal high? I felt mine is alittle to high and the SA told me that its normal. Another thing i would like to ask is, does the steering for M-line harder like when parking u wanna turn the steering, its like not so smooth..muz use strength to turn it? the SA told me that M-line steering is alittle heavier compared to those without airbag.

sometimes when accelerate..can hear some sound from the door...not those wind sound..more like some part longgar edi  anyone encounter same things as me?..

When u wanna remove ur car frm parking tat time, u can turn wit 1 hand smoothly anot...i mean without moving the car yet, juz turn the steering? I felt its alittle stiff lar, not like those kelisa all tat can turn smoothly. Its normal anot?
