actually, i think the perfect tshirt is a thick, plain white tee, with a tight collar. also acceptable in heather grey.
i have yet to find it. |

I can't do with tight crew neck, it suffocates me. So i pretty much welcome non-crew neck tshirts.
I prefer soft fabric (either pure cotton or polyester-cotton mix but not polyester only) especially in this warm weather. |

i wouldn't opt for a tight crewneck - what i mean is for the collar not to sit too low. then again, i'm a pretty big guy.
as for thickness, as long as my chocolate chips don't show, i'm all good. LOL. |

Ed hardy is overated. Their designs are too cluttered.

If you wear a sneakers or an old skool chucks or vans, you will chuck in a cool tshirt to pair with it.
I personally likes Europe T-shirt brand, those urban street wear and their quality made.. i owned "heidi.com(Switzerland Brand) " , "Hamb(Aus brand)","stussy"... There is well known tshirt brand out there like Riders, Freshjive, Acrombie Fitch, Mossimo... Mind to share more anyone? |

I usually stick to polyester + cotton material, the weather in KL are terrible.
I try to avoid big print/logo, my choice was Air jordan, Nike golf series and some other sport brand. |

May i introduce ringspun? It's a brand from manchester, uk. I find their designs more elaborate and less tacky/flashy than ed hardy. The price is cheaper too.
Ringspun is highly famed for its elaborate and combined use of beads, metal pins/studs,chains,embroideries contrast/gel/shimmer prints, and normally finished off with its signature "wing skull over spade background" metal pin. Their t-shirts tend to be patterned ones instead of plain colours (especially for their higher end products costing >GBP55.00) It's famous for its japan/samurai-inspired motive, and animals such as tigers. The cloth tends to be really soft on touch, but not as thin as topman. Good for local weather here. Here's an example (make sure you zoom in too see how elaborate the prints are): http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-King...ort=3&clr=Black http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-Coat...ort=3&clr=Black http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-Onag...ort=3&clr=White (onega embroided t-shirt; motive samurai with prints "life is beautiful") http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-War-...ort=3&clr=Black http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-Rafi...ort=3&clr=White http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-Ever...sort=3&clr=Grey http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-Rafi...ort=3&clr=White http://www.asos.com/Ringspun/Ringspun-Meur...sort=3&clr=Blue This post has been edited by deja-vu: May 8 2010, 07:42 AM |

Maybe I'm wrong but I notice that alot of the polyester or polyester mix t-shirts have some kinda lustre/ shiny look on them?
And speaking about construction quality, what makes a quality t-shirt? I'm curious |
