For tees, i notice that the prints tend to look better if it has no more than 3 colours.

Btw, out of curiousity, since i haven't check for a long time, in KL, are t-shirts with beads/metal studs/seaquins/decorative needleworks/etc popular?

I have themes when it comes to getting t-shirts. Mainly, they are England (not the fb jersey), japanese, tv/movie/cartoon and skulls themes.

Another tee style that i fancy but have never owned before

Haynes' maul.. showing off blue prints of minis, cars, mopeds, bikes, even at-ats.

What's the most you've spent on a tee?

I can't do with tight crew neck, it suffocates me. So i pretty much welcome non-crew neck tshirts.

I prefer soft fabric (either pure cotton or polyester-cotton mix but not polyester only) especially in this warm weather.

Ed hardy is overated. Their designs are too cluttered.

May i introduce ringspun? It's a brand from manchester, uk. I find their designs more elaborate and less tacky/flashy than ed hardy. The price is cheaper too.

Ringspun is highly famed for its elaborate and combined use of beads, metal pins/studs,chains,embroideries contrast/gel/shimmer prints, and normally finished off with its signature "wing skull over spade background" metal pin. Their t-shirts tend to be patterned ones instead of plain colours (especially for their higher end products costing >GBP55.00)

It's famous for its japan/samurai-inspired motive, and animals such as tigers.

The cloth tends to be really soft on touch, but not as thin as topman. Good for local weather here.

Here's an example (make sure you zoom in too see how elaborate the prints are):
