Hey there.
A question of all you sifus out there. My sis has an iphone 2G FW 1.14 and has a bunch of apps which she bought from Installer (eg. Intelliscreen). Now she would like to upgrade to FW2.2 and JB it. I read from the forums that once you do the FW upgrade to 2.2, all your JB apps will be wiped out and you will have to reinstall bec again (including Intelliscreen). My question is if once the JB apps are wiped out after the firmware update, do we have to purchase the app again to use the app in our newly upgraded iphone????? Thanks.

Most purchased jb apps (intelliscreen, swirlymms, etc) are sold on a license basis which means you won't have to repurchase the app if you accidentally deleted it or if wiped out when performing a firmware upgrade. The app should reregister your purchase by verification of the license on the particular iPhone which you intended it for.
So in short my answer is your sister shouldn't have to worry about having to repurchase. To be extra safe though, check at the app's developer website to see if the app is sold on a license basis.
