Are your sources reliable?
RM84k (S-Spec), OTR or not? <-- if that's the base price for the S-Spec, we're looking good for a RM89k (E-Spec) base w/o Insurance?
*
then we all shall pray its a reliable source.

hahaha then the countdown already started? ya, i have the same feeling too, 84k and 89k base price w/o OTR. hopefully honda malaysia makes it reasonable.

wow is that true for low interest? then maybe i should borrow money from my parents first and pay them back later....hmmm....damn this city is driving me nuts haha.

anyone knows which showroom in KL area have a polished metal metallic city for viewing?
*
i dont think theres any so far. most of the showrooms received 2 colors as seen on the trailer truck the other day, blue and black.

QUOTE(wb4j @ Dec 18 2008, 10:31 AM)
near 90k for a 1.5L b segment car. It's a rip off! The funny thing is, in spite of the steep pricing, it is some how well received?!?  rclxub.gif
*
lol the power of dream. why not if its has so much to offer with slightly reasonable price. i was expecting it would be more than 90k for the base price of spec E. seriously i felt really happy and relief that the base price is lower than 90k.

yea just came bak from the showroom too. it looks way better in real life. u can see all the details, oh and the silver center panel, believe me, it looks way way better than in photos. ya, it has those fine 'metal' lines and accord has it too by the dashboard.

the one i saw in showroom is spec S, its already breath taking. i didnt wait for the test drive...too long queue. but on the way out, i saw it coming in. oh boy its really stunning!

overall its a car really has out-classed many, soon will be out-numbered others too. for the price at 85k and 90k, now latio too can cry.

o ya, spec E for me and decided i want black color haha. agree, the interior plastic could have been better built and it really felt hollow when i knock on the door (from inside of course) and the dashboard too. funny i was expecting crap center console and better quality for dash, it turns out the opposite. but still acceptable for me haha.

oh, on the performance part, i read about the Shift Hold Control and the Suspension, they are really extra goods offered in city. man i felt its really worth it.

full loan means paid 10% down payment than other all loan from bank ?

Or 100% from bank ?

Full loan what is the total year they offer ?
*
full loan is after u pay for the down payment, take for 9 yrs, then u will get 2.8 or 2.9...i dont remember much sry. because im going for lesser loan n shorter duration, my SA told me my rate is 3.2%.

Elru, you're taking bout 50k loan? Almost same as me. I plan to take loan for 5yrs. So the loan is 3.2%? Which bank you loan from? Thx.
*
actually i intended to get 40k within 3 yrs so i will get 3.3. urs i think will be lesser, maybe say 3.1% ard there. its just a 'rough' estimation from my SA, i havent really get into details with him yet, still planning haha sweat.gif

1. Vibration sensor senses vibrations inside the car when a car thief attempts to break. It activates the alarm and immobiliser making  the car cannot start at all.
2. Waveblade key cannot be duplicated at your neighbourhood key shop thus making it safe even though you lose the key.  tongue.gif

Wokay.. decided on the E-Spec! tomorrow want to test drive again. Didn't notice, but does the key have a boot release mechanism? ie. just press the button and release? Modulo kit is overpriced.. the rear under-spoiler is quite ugly tho, imho.
*
ya, its quite big. i saw it going up to the millennium showroom, almost got scratch at the rear as its quite steep the road.

so now the unconfirmed facts is
1. the leather wrap gear knob
2. autolock
3. remote button for unlocking boot

I'll check both of that tomorrow.
1. Didn't feel much difference between both Specs, but I didn't check it in detail..will do so tml
2. When I test drive again tml, will check whether got auto-lock (imho, didn't think it have..didn't hear the door locking when I drove)
*
yea is it the same for both specs? i want to know too. oh and the remote button for unlocking boot you have mention just now. thanks smile.gif

OMG! So many posts since my last read. Anyway I got a last minute invitation to the launching event which was at Mandarin Oriental. Nothing much basically, the half cut car is on display which shows the internal features. All colors are available there. At the end got a goodies bag which consists of Honda Keychain with flashlight, Honda card holder and full set of Honda City brochure. Anyway the car looks really better than real life and the radio doesn't look that bad actually.
a goody bag! sweeeet.... wink.gif
QUOTE(sysh @ Dec 19 2008, 12:21 AM)
Okay. I'll check that too.
So I've got 3 things to check.
Will write it down on a paper so I don't forget. Anymore?

Yeah the Modulo brochure is also included. Full price list on Modulo stuff is on first page. The Illuminated Side Step costs RM600!
yea, that is one of the items in my wanting list too..but rm600!? wooooot! if third party outside, might void the electric warranty... hmm.gif

Doesn't seem to have a button to unlock the boot on the remote control key.
As seen in the link below (from Paultan.org)  sad.gif
Key
