17" model can pay u the 1st installment for a car..haha
Don't think many of the people will willing to fork out this RM10k for a laptop especially in this economic recession period. There is no more a show-off thing to pay rm10k for a laptop compare to few years ago. People might just think you are really no where to spent with. Computer technology changes rapidly currently. Just get what you can afford and necessary .. not a wish to have. If really one big screen, just extend to 2nd monitor. Carrying a 17inch laptop as portable working station is not style at all. Even 15.4 inch model could make you preaching after a moment. Getting 15.4 MBP is not for the big screen for certain peoples. It is the dedicated GFX card that sells. Some get 13.3 model cause they are not working on hungry application that need powerful GFX card. There are many reasons why people make decision in each model. Majoritiy is the budget that calls. . |

right?! For me no point keeping the extra 1gb RAM. Mostly people will prefer to upgrade to the Max. i plan to playing waiting games on ACCP wif mbp.. hehe... I expected DDR3 RAM will drop price is near future like DDR2. At least before end of year 2009. Let's pray for it. Now enter the era for 3 channels RAM. |

i saw one dude uploaded his macbook surface in youtube which had been damaged by dust with this type of "protector".
If you guys gonna get this, have to remove the case to wipe off the dust oftenly. It is indeed solid as it looks and feels like. Just there are unexpected issues with this products. This post has been edited by dinodog_Jr: Feb 13 2009, 02:28 PM |

QUOTE(cRazYee @ Feb 19 2009, 10:50 PM) I never try express carr to USB but I tried express card reader, but that card got problem I'm still waiting replacemnt one. Belkin brand. Your 3.5 hdd should hv external power source to power it. You mouse only use small amount of power I just found out the express card cost more than RM200 to RM300 from a brand. I gave up lar..haha.. Going for cheaper solution USB hub+power adapterMy 3.5HDD" is power wif adapter. I don't know why it makes the cursor extremely handicapped. I have to transfer files from HDD to another PC then Networking/thumbdrive to copy files into my laptop. Anyone DIY usb fan? I having this plan to make normal CPU fan as my portable fan...haha... |

It ok Crazyee. I don't transfer huge piles of files always.
Btw, what are the ideal RPM speed to set for SMC fan controller? i afraid to damage the fan hardware. I had read some ppl set up until 6k RPM. I can hear the loud fan and effectively cool down the Heating part instantly. I neva tot this SMC is so superb than using a notebook cooler pad. Right now i set it around 35000 to play safety. Yah, anyone using ideal cooling solution here so far? I am using the cheapo RM15 USB FAN. it is effective but fussy to bring around. It is a fan-based design. And very noisy which disturbing my music session. This post has been edited by dinodog_Jr: Feb 22 2009, 03:54 PM |

Guys,
.. i tried to re-install boot camp just now. But i thought the installer is inside Mac Installation disc. (I didn't install anything in this menu.) After that, i quit the installation from the Menu Screen. And i ejected the DVD.When it restart the machine, it couldn't boot into Mac OS X anymore. I have to eject the DVD in bootcamp though. I try to follow the steps to enter safe mode into Mac OS X. Press SHIFT once hear the first loading Buzz. I didn't made it. I don't get the timing of it i guess.. It sux~! .. Before that, i did install MacDrive. After i put the Mac Installation disc, Macdrive was corrupted when i checked in bootcamp. Now, i already uninstalled this MacDrive. Still cannot boot into Mac OS X. How do i recover my access into Mac OS X?! Headache.. Google like no where .... cannot working my stuff now. |

Can't boot into Mac OS X once i press the power button on my machine.
I don't see any screen like safe mode with Shift button pressed ... Just grey apple logo wif spinning circle like normal. I need someone do it in real-life. So, i can catch the exactly timing. yes... that one i know... Alt key to choose HDD ..haha.. Anyway, i solved the bootcamp issue. I guess it is the kaspersky AV making the whole XP startup loading like turtle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just now, i entered Mac OS X installation setup , and tried with the First Aid/Verify Disk. These are some of the info i got. "Volume Header needs minor repair." "The Volume Macintosh HD need to be repaired." "Error : File System verify or repair failed." -------------------------------------------------------------- Does it mean i need to format my Mac OS X?
