Haha, tricky questions. Nobody actually knows the answers. Some says it will because hard drive is a physical matter, built on megnetic technology. Arrangging and rearranging megnetic partical on the disc will wear it down bit by bit. Some says no because you just simply clear all of your data inside xD Some says the only way you could damage your hard drive would be by formatting it with a magnet<< lol at this. Anyway, i think by the time you damage ur HD by reformatting, there's already larger capacity of HD available in the market...
