Hi, I'm considering a MacBook but not really sure if I am making a right choice. I just need a notebook which i can surf the net, download movies (especially from Thunder) and do my job with Microsoft office. Any suggestion?

Yea, if you're going to use the MacBook for the above purposes. a MacBook white 2.0ghz will be sufficient. Yet, I don't reckon there's thunder for Mac rite? You'll hv to either use xtorrent/ bittorrent.

If there is anyone looking for nice sleeves, do check out my thread. I am using the product myself and find it very satisfying.

No, it will not. Because based on the MacBook's manual, there is an instruction of how to replace the hard disk.

When I purchased my MacBook white, I asked the shop guy whether they can replace my HD to 250Gb or not and they said nope, because the warranty will be voided once you do so. So, you had better gv them a call for confirmation before you do it.

I dunno any Defrag program like XP. Would like to know too.
Anyway, i don't feel my Mac os X lagging or so until now.  I keep added more n more applications.

Strong n stable as it is. Macho OS.

Onyx is something like CCleaner. Check it out.

Freeware.

My Mac becomes laggy after I left it running for few days. Hv to restart in order to retain the max performance.

hey guys , wanna ask about macbook white removable battery. i heard that it expands after a few months and dies after a year . is that true? thinkin of getting a macbook white
*
Hi there, don't remove the battery if possible, just leave it there, itll stop charging when it's full so no worries. Regarding the defect of battery, only a few ppl face the prob, mine is still gd after using for nearly 1 year, but no worries, you can claim a new batt if it really swells. The battery dies normally after 400-500 cycles, if you use it frequently then of coz it will die faster that's normal. My health health is still 90% and only 80 cycles smile.gif
