apple just update the macbook design last yr. so i think the coming upgrade might just be the hardwares only. a slight upgrade, or slightly cheaper. that's all.

yes! i'm facing the same thing! my college's computer all running Windows XP with a stupid mouse. I can't really use the mouse and the system.
Like for example :
1, the scroll ball not as sensitive as apple's (or maybe its already old?)
2, i wanna see all apps in one time also cannot. need to open tab-by-tab. damn mafan.
3, the command key (windows' CTRL key) is not located at the same place. so everytime i press, i'll press ALT =='
4, overall its not as efficient as Mac OS X. so everytime in student lounge (where i use the school computer) also got hear ppl nagging one, which is me ==' like "why so slow one?", "eh! why lag liao ar?", "shit, i forget how to use this ler"

yeah, i kinda facing the same problem too. shut down abit slow if on too many days. and start up also abit slow than last time. but i check liao the startup applications, only iTunes helper is going to run when startup. others apps not runnig wor.

hmm, i'm not facing this problem. maybe is the workmanship. that day the better working man off day. haha. jkjk.

Added on May 13, 2009, 1:42 pmoh yeah, i recalled something.. everything wanna close windows in MAC is CMD+W.. but in windows is CTRL+F4... everytime i use windows also CMD+W... nothing happened and i'm sitll wondering why. haha, after only i realize i'm at windows =='

but mine is the 2.0ghz one, dun hv backlight. but then the quality built in the white mb i think is not better than the unimb one XD haha. unimb is still more glam XD

maybe u're running alot of flash files. like loading youtube or playing games in facebook.
or maybe editting photo in iPhoto? sometimes i get sound when i'm editting in iPhoto.

but 1st of all, u shouldn't leave ur laptop inside right? anyway, sorry to hear that.

don't know what happened to my uMB today?
i pressed on F8 to play iTunes then hang already =='
then at that moment i got Mail so i clicked on it.
Also hang ady. then i restart. then hang again for awhile.

then i restart 2nd time. only can run normal. but jsut now open iTunes also hang abit. wonder why?
