unless he/she meant n95

I take the n95 8gb

n85 didnt have internal memory but still come with 8gb mSD. correct me if wrong.

yes n95 8gb 2.8in screen (n95 2.6), n95 has more RAM (2x amount), better battery life,

but camera no lens cover

n95 can have memory card support (so can use up to 16gb card currently)

8gb is fixed at 8gb

n78 gps sometimes shaky

keypad also hard to sms a bit

Depends on how u use it actually...
If u're always playing Ngage or Java games yes batt will be flat very fast (but so is other phones not just limited to Nokia N82)
If u're just using it for casual calls and casual sms normally it would last for 3 days + (batt flat on 4th day)

Ori Zitron batt can actually outlast other "non-ori" brands. I bought a "non-ori" one as spare but the batt life still not as good as the Zitron one that came with the phone.....
