QUOTE(mydelsol @ May 26 2011, 06:43 PM) Hi ALL, that's quite an unusual way to give an iphone as a present Im extremely new to Iphone, am getting a "present" from a friend a 32gb 3Gs fully loaded (games, music, videos) just want to know can I use it without a sim card? Thanks for replying without a SIM, u should be able to use it like an ipod touch. games, music, videos still can use. sms, call, 3g connection ofcoz cannot lah. but then if me, i'd just sell the 3gs n buy an ipod touch instead |

QUOTE(miuwiubeauty @ Jun 15 2011, 11:38 AM) Hi, i would like to get new Iphone 4. Want to know that Maxis packages better or Digi one? before u compare prices, most important is to check both maxis n digi coverage at ur location. say if ppl say digi is the best, but digi signal at ur place sucks, no use also. try to ask ppl around uThen how many GB better? Please advise. Thanks QUOTE(flexus90 @ Jun 15 2011, 10:57 PM) As the title iPhone 4 finally made available on Apple US store. Priced at 649USD for 16GB and 749USD for 32GB. Btw does it make sense RM2000 for iPhone 4 16GB off contract? well USD 649 is already RM1977 so not much difference lahCheck it out here http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC603LL/A?mco=MjI4NTM2NTM |

QUOTE(epsonstylux @ Aug 10 2011, 01:07 AM) the seller is selling locked version of iphone. with personal warranty, and not the malaysian carrier's warranty. very hassle. and low resale value also. not worth it. probably the seller want to sell cuz cannot tahan using locked set also the baseband is 03.10.01.. is it a hassle to use the locked version? cause i watch on youtube that you have to do though not so complicated but hassling steps to get the phone working. |

QUOTE(aa*ron @ Aug 15 2011, 05:49 PM) And don't worry about the warranty, because Apple devices warranty work on any authorized service centre on this planet regardless the region or country. Sometime, they don't even need your proof of purchase, the service officer just need your device serial number, then they'll check online if your device still under the coverage of warranty. EXCEPT for iphones. so yeah TS should worry about warranty as welland make sure you get a proper unlocked version. really not worth it dealing with gevey sim and whatnot This post has been edited by dvlzplayground: Aug 15 2011, 05:58 PM |

QUOTE(angel_jc8 @ Sep 1 2011, 09:11 PM) find out why 3gs was named '3gs', then u'll figure out why the next iphone wont be named 4gsQUOTE(ahmadkhalil @ Sep 5 2011, 02:21 PM) Do I monitor this thread for news on iPhone 5 or is there another dedicated thread for it? I'm waiting for the new version to arrive in Malaysia. Decided to change after faithfully using my iPhone 3G since Day 1 official launch in Malaysia i believe this is the appropriate thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1812247Although I hardly run apps on it due to performance in speed & battery life, my iPhone really needs an upgrade i never heard of an iphone having increased performance after JB. well u've been using it since about 3 years ago so i hope it's not much of a big deal to wait for iphone5 hehe. |
