any idea how can i remove the subtitle from a video ? cause the original subs is chinese, i wana load to english, but it appear 2 subs at once. how to remove it ha?

not sure as i use VLC.. but try playing the avi on wmp, and see how it goes.. there're settings to select subtitle track..

Is the subtitle hard-coded in the video?
or there is separate .srt file in the folder together with the video?

But if it srt file,it nid some step to open it,except the setting is auto-loaded.

If it is auto-loaded subtitles,then u jz change the setting,but if it is hard-coded,then I think it is hard to remove!

try to use gom player. easy to load subtitle

The question now is not regarding how to load subtitle,it is about how to remove subtitle from the video,can gom player do that?

gom player can only remove if the subtitle is separate, but if hard coded than I don't think you can remove it

Ya...mpc oso the same,u can choose to don load the subtitle if the subtitle's file is srt and not hardcoded.

Or u jz watch the movie with two subtitle la,haha,can sambil learn chinese oso.

well the chinese subs its already hard coded in the video, and i load english subs too, becos the 2 subs are mixed up make me hard to read. tats why i wana remove it @@

Ah then unfortunately you can only remove the English one, as it's a separate file that you load, the chinese one is permanent, unless there's a way to remove that I don't know lol

You mean the chinese subs is hardcoded and the english subs is softcoded or U have the eng subs file?

Hmm I think the easiest way is to download a new 1 without the chinese subs but it will really hurt if the file size is big.

if is softsub then
navigate > subtitle > no sub

Download a new one is a best solution,but if u dowan,u can read the english subtitle too with a little of disturbing,better than download a new one anyway,if ur main purpose of download that movie is for watching and not for collection.

if your eng sub is softsub, you can adjust how it present. You can choose where it position or change the font color, tht shud ease your watching

i jz cant click there. it was lock

because ur sub is hardcoded and not softsubs... u cant remove hardcoded subs...

then juz adjust the position of the soft sub to upper abit or lower abit

vlc can do that,
but the bad thing is it doesnt handle rmvb files.

GOM can do that too (adjusting the subtitle position)... I think. >_>

just crop the subs out with video editor

MPC>option>subtitle> override placement
modify the value there
