Convert the .MOV file from the camera, which is in MJPEG format, to H.264/MP4.

Thanks bro~ The LX3 will reach me tonight~ Hooray~

I will try my best shooting the celestial wonders but don't expect too much as my skill is limited and LX3 is not designed for this. Hehe~

2. I would prefer that the lens stick close to the ring and focus more on it rather than the skin.

8. The hamster is so cute and obedient! wub.gif

Fuiyoh, PcHo~ Nice photo there! I will post up my "drafts" next week. Got to go to NUS to attend a talk by Dr.Jocelyn Bell, a very prominent professor that found the first radio pulsar when she was 19!

This kind of spider is harmless? I'm trying to identify the creatures around me rather than trying to kill them. smile.gif

PcHo, what does it look like he was sitting at the driver seat?

In my opinion, the photo is a bit underexposed and the focus is a bit soft. It's better to cover the whole spider by using a smaller aperture.

Just my 2 cents. smile.gif

Yes. The F/2.0 of LX3 if compared to F/2.0 of DSLR lens, the DSLR is certainly brighter because of its larger aperture. Actually, F/2.0 isn't the aperture of the lens, it's the focal ratio of the lens.

Sorry for my limited optical knowledge. smile.gif

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Mar 22 2009, 08:54 PM)
oh, then i must be referring to the blurring effect. Wrong term used :-P
*
The blurring effect is caused due to the inability of the fast lens (low focal ratio) to keep everything in range to be in focus. In Astrophotography, fast lens is loved for its ability to get brighter image in shorter time but hated for its very demanding precise focus. Oops.. off-topic. smile.gif

So.. did I answer you? tongue.gif
